This Episode of AEW Collision, is live from Cincinnati, OH!

To start off this show, we are graced to the music and presence of…..

the AEW Women’s Champion, Toni Storm! Toni Storm, starts off this promo applauding Athena for her accomplishments…but also calls her annoying and that she has too many nicknames.

While delivering this promo, Toni Storm is sneak attacked by Athena, who puts down Toni and her “sexual innuendo” promos. Athena then vows to become the AEW World Heavyweight Champion, with Bille Starkz holding down Toni Storm in the ring.

Wait a minute! Mina Shirakawa makes her return to interrupts Athen’s speech, after being injured by Athena at AEW All In. Athena then hilariously jumps into the arms of AEW security as she runs away from Shirakawa and Toni Storm.

This will continue at their AEW Women’s World Championship in one week, at AEW’s Forbidden Door!

First Match: The DeathRiders (Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta) face off against JetSpeed in our opening tag team match!…Wait a minute!

Jetspeed waste no time in this matchup, running to the ring and leaping over the top ropes to take out Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta before the bell rings!

AEW Dynamite 8/13/25

Cincinnati, Ohio

The show starts off with….

The music of a one MJF hitting, and him walking to ring…kissing his ring and fist bumpinThe Show starts off with the music of a one MJF hitting, and him walking to ring…kissing his ring and fist bumping the camera. After MJF enters the ring, Hangman Adam Page’s music hits not too long after.

MJF refers to Hangman Adam page as the main character, and himself as the Main antagonist in AEW. MJF then goes on to talk about how he is going to make Hangman Adam Page so mad that he is going to lose his first World Heavyweight title defense. This enrages Hangman Adam Page, as he counters MJF’s “Seabiscuit” jab, with the fact that the mentioned horse in that movie actually wins in the end.

MJF states that the AEW Universe treats Hangman like an “infallable God”, like Hangman can’t do any wrong. MJF is making the assumption that Hangman Adam Page is not a good person. Hangman takes an exception to this, calling MJF a gutless coward that is afraid to cash in his contract for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

Feeling the pressure and frustration of the moment, Hangman Adam Page successfully convinced MJF to use his contract for an AEW World Heavyweight Championship match at Forbidden Door.

First Match: Jon Moxley is still reeling from AEW’s All in Texas, but he has to…
switch his focus to the tag team partner of Mike “Speedball” Bailey, ” The Jet” Kevin Knight. After Kevin Knight had a face to face confrontation during the match of Mike Bailey v
s Jon Moxley the week before, he now had to face Jon Moxley one on one.

Kevin Knight and Jon Moxley start this match off goes forarm for forearm, with Mox getting the advantage over Knight. Outside of the ring, Moxley is punishing a seated Kevin Knight, with a barrage of straight right punches. The cameraman shows a nice show of the hair of Marina Shafir, showing the the Deathriders are nearby, as Knight and Moxley continue to battle on the outside of the ring.

With both competitors on the ramp, Kevin Knight rains down punches on Moxley, before Mox gets away. Kevin Knight then attempts to leap off of the ramp but crashes into the side barricade after Moxley moves
out of the way (Mox sideswipes Knight to push him into the barricade).

As the match continues, and both competitors stand to their feet exchanging punches, Moxley ends this exchange by biting the head of Kevin Knight. Knight returns with a picture perfect dropkick and bites the arm of Moxley. Knight gets a two count on Jon Moxley, and immediately adds more offense with a very impressive superplex from the top rope!

Knight gets 2 count off of a reversal pin, with a powerbomb getting Knight another 2 count. It is good to note here that Kevin Knight is doing very well against the most recent former World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley. night goes to the top rope for his “UFO Splash” finisher, with Moxley countering with a sleeper hold. Kevin Knight tries to roll out of this submission, but is forced to tap out.

Post match: The Death riders once again…..
pounce on Jetspeed, but the returning Darby Allin walks tot he ring with a body bag, playing some mind games with Jon Moxley! With the help of Darby Allin, Jetspeed is able to fend off the Deathriders and put Wheeler Yuta in the body bag.

Claudio Castignoli returns to the ring to get Darby Allin off the top rope and put him in the bodybag instead. Castignoli then spins Darby around and around, before Wheeler Yuta brings a chair into the ring. Just before Castignoli and Yuta are able to incapacitate Darby Allin, Will Ospreay makes his return and delivers a hidden blade to scare off the Death Riders!

Will O’Spreay vows to snap the next of Jon Moxley, like the DeathRiders tried to do to him!

Next Match: A powerful woman has aligned herself with a powerful group…
After the events of last week, Mercedes Mone (Who holds many championships at the same time), has aligned herself with Thekla, Skye Blue and Julia Hart. This match feature only Skye Blue and Thekla tho, as their opponents are newest AEW member Alex Windsor, teaming up with Queen Aminata (who has a rivalry with Thekla) and Willow Nightingale (who has had many rivalries with all members of the opposing team).

After the entrances of both trios teams are finished, we get a surprise entrance from Toni Storm (AEW Women’s Champion)…who is interrupted by Athena (Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion). There are alot of champions and former champions present for this match.

Alex Windsor starts off this match, with a nice running shoulder block on Skye Blue. Windsor gets the tag to Willow Nightingale, who gets 10 lariats on Blue for a pin count interrupted by Mercedes Mone. Speaking of Mercedes, she gets the tag, with Queen Aminata tagging in on the opposing side. Queen Aminata gets a nice swinging Full Nelson slam on Mercedes, before delivering hip thrust to the face of Mercedes Mone (ala Stephanie Vaquer’s “Devil’s Kiss”).

Queen Aminata pushes Mercedes Mone back into her turnbuckle, getting the tag to Alex Windsor, who is distracted by Julia Hart on the outside of the ring. Skye Blue is in the ring, getting, pushing her foot into in the face of Alex Windsor (referee Aubrey Edwards get the 4 count on the hold). Thekla is in the ring with Alex Windsor, and gets a tarantula hold on Windsor on the ropes (illegal move, as noted by the AEW commentary team!)

The match continues with all 6 women in the ring, with Willow Nightingale delivering a nice cannonball to all of her opponents in the corner. Queen Aminata delivers a nice headbutt to Julia Hart, sending her back to the outside, which allows Thekla to take advantage and get the tag to Mercedes Mone. Unfortunately for Mercedes, she ends up in a sharpshooter from Alex Windsor. All 6 competitors then have a nice sequence of signature moves.

Athena and Toni Storm applaud from the stands, as Skye Blue stuns Alex Windsor with a superkick before tapping out to another sharpshooter from Alex Windsor!

Post Match: The live camera pans out to Athena and Toni Storm battling in the stands, making their way to the ring it seems.
Both trios teams currently in the ring, battle it out as well, with Mercedes Mone sending a message to Alex Windsor throwing her into the corner turnbuckle.

Athena and Toni Storm make their way to the ring, with Athena yelling at Mercedes Mone “You’re Next”. Toni Storm, and Alex Windsor then get the advantage, taking out both Mercedes and Athena!

Toni Storm issues a challenge to the two competitors, a tag team match at next weeks episode of AEW Dynamite in Scotland!

Backstage interview: Renee Paquette announces that she will interview Will Ospreay who happens to show up at that exact moment.
Backstage interview: Renee Paquette announces that she will interview Will Ospreay who happens to show up at that exact moment.
Earlier in the night, Will O’Spreay issued a Lights Out Steel Cage match to the DeathRiders. Will O’Spreay then announces that he has another tag team member for Forbidden Door, New Japan Pro Wresling Legend, Hiroshi Tomohashi! The DeathRiders are on notice, that there isn’t a shortage of superstars, even from other promotions, that are willing to end their reign of terror!

Will O’Spreay ends this segment, asking Renee Paquette to tell her husband (Jon Moxley), that he would like to have a word with him. Let’s see how this goes when O’Spreay and Mox have a little war of words next week, presumably with the DeathRiders in tow!

Next Match: “Big Stoke” Stolkey has a great oppur…bad luck in a match vs……

Last week, Stokley continues to laud about FTR’s restraining order against Adam Copeland, but what he failed to think about, is the fact that it doesn’t protect himself. Adam Copeland announced last week, that he would be facing Stokley in a match.

Stokely Hathaway cautiously makes his way to the ring, with AEW security having to pick him him and bring him to the ring himself. Now in the ring with Adam Copeland, Copeland delivers a uninspiring forearm shot to Stokely, which amusingly puts him down anyway. Outside of the ring, Adam Copeland interview members of the crowd, asking for their opinions on Stokely Hathaway (who aparently doesn’t get any gardening tools).

Back inside the ring, Adam Copeland delivers what should be a match ending spear to Stokley Hathaway, but FTR make their presence known. Again, Adam Copeland spears Stokely, but he can’t lay finger on FTR because of the restraining order. FTR makes the mistake of making contact with Adam Copeland, voiding the restraining order, setting up a spear from Copeland to Stokley. As Copeland runs towards Stokley, Stokley blows some…baby powder…..into the face of Adam Copeland.

FTR and Stokley try to take advantage, but Christian Cage runs to the ring with Copeland’s weapon “Spike”. Christian Cage needs to watchout, as his former Patriarchy stablemates Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian are planning a sneak attack. Adam Copeland is able to deliver a spear on Kip Sabian, sending the “Not Patriarchy” up the ramp. In the center of the ring, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, long time friends and rivals, bump into each other. It seems as if they are slowly hashing out their problems, as Adam Copeland hugs Christian Cage, with Christian Cage hugging back. Just rivals again a few months ago, they are friends again at the moment.

We need to take this week by week, as Adam Copeland looks to bring Christian Cage to the light, even still dealing with the errors of his ways!

Next Match (Extended Review): The Young Bucks and the Don Callis Family team up against the New Conglomeration:
The Young Bucks, alongside Don Callis members Kyle Fletcher and Josh Alexander make their way to the ring. Next up Brodie King, Tomohiro Ishii and Hologram have to find a fourth member, who is….Hiromu Takahashi from New Japan Pro Wrestling!

This match starts off with Takahashi dropkicking Kyle Fletcher out of the ring, before the Young Bucks take him out. Hologram leaps off the top rope for a body slam on the Young Bucks. All of the competitors in this 8 man tag match are now outside of the ring, with the Young Bucks superkicking the head off AEW Ring Announcer Justin Roberts!

Back in the ring, Hiromu Takahashi and Tomohiro Ishii handle Kyle Fletcher, as AEW staff checks on Justin Roberts. Hologram tags in delivering a nice drop kick to Kyle Fletcher, before a moonsault and a one count! Brodie King tags in delivering a nice chop to the chest of Kyle Fletcher for a 2 count. A double clothesline from Brodie King, takes out Kyle Fletcher and Josh Alexander, and deliver a cannonball to Fletcher in the corner. He then delivers another cannonball to the Young Bucks on the outside.

Tomohiro Ishii is in the ring, delivering a double shoulder block to the Young Bucks before a German suplex to Kyle Fletcher! The Young Bucks take out Ishii with a superkick, before taking down Brodie King as well. Hologram is on the receiving end of a superkick trying to jump into the ring, with Josh Alexander delivering a back drop to Takahashi on the apron!

The action moves to the ramp, as Matt Jackson jumps off the rope and delivers an “TK Driver” to Brodie King with Kyle Fletcher. The Young Bucks and the Don Callis family are standing tall right now!

The match continues, with Josh Alexander delivering a spinning rack bomb to Hologram, with the pin count broken up by Takahashi! The Young Bucks and the Don Callis family are still in control of this match. Speaking of, Kyle Fletcher and Josh Alexander double team Hologram, who receives a knee drop to the back of the head from Josh Alexander! Hologram would rebound this, with a Poisonrana on Nick Jackson, taking out Matt Jackson too. With Kyle Fletcher on the match, Hologram tags in Hiromu Takahashi, who gets a double drop kick on the Young Bucks, before a couple of clotheslines to Kyle Fletcher and Josh Alexander!

Hiromu Takahashi gets a two pin count on Kyle Fletcher, but gets distracted on the top rope by Josh Alexander. The Young Bucks get quick tags to each other, taking out Takahashi before the Don Callis Family takes advantage. Kyle Fletcher gets a 2 count off a leaping tombstone piledriver, which would take out most opponents!

Brodie King leaps to the outside of the ring taking out Kyle Fletcher, setting up a sequence of moves to the outside from all competitors. In the ring, Josh Alexander and Hiromu Takahashi battle it out, with Takahashi hitting a superkick and Death Valley Driver for the 1 …2…… 3!

Next Segment: Swerv Strickland and Prince Nana make their way to the ring
Renee Paquette interviews Swerv Strickland about his injury, and how that will effects his ability to face Kazuchika Okada at AEW’s Forbidden Door. Speaking of Okada, he makes his way to the ring, and states that Swerv has no chance with to win the title with his injury.

Swerve Strickland responds with his catchphrase “Whose House” with Okada responding by calling Swerve a B*tch. Swerv Strickland then pushes him, prompting AEW security to run to the ring and break them up. It seems that these two are going to have to wait until Forbidden Door to go at one another!

Backstage Segment: Alicia Atout interviews Jon Moxley and the DeathRiders
Alicia Atout asks Jon Moxley if he has chosen his teammates to fight Will O’Spreay, Darby Allin and New Japan Wrestling’s Tamohashi. Jon Moxley seemingly laughs this off as he walks away, bumping into another major tag team in the AEW Locker Room, the recently disgraced Young Bucks. Jon Moxley asks that Marina Shafir closes the door as he speaks to the Young Bucks.

Next Match: The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata) take on LFI (La Faccion Ingobernable, Rush, Dralistico and Beast Mortos).
This match starts off with Powerhouse Hobbs going one on one with Beast Mortos, delivering a nice running shoulder block. Powerhouse Hobbs then grabs Draslistco mid-air and tosses him. Samoa Joe gets the tag in, getting in a barrage of punches on Dralisto in the corner, before delivering a jumping kick, putting Dralistico down on the mat. Shibata gets the tag in, kicking Rush off the turnbuckle.

LFI is now in the ring with Shibata, delivering a barrage of clotheslines to the corner turnbuckle. Back in the ring, Dralistico is one on one with Shibata who he has in a submission, before picking up for some offense on the right arm of Shibata. Beast Mortos tags in, and immediately smacks the taste out of the mouth of Shibata. At this point, LFI is in complete control of Katsuyori Shibata. Samao Joe tries to help out, but Referee Aubrey Edwards sends him back to his corner.

The action continues, with Dralistico still breaking down Katsuyori Shibata. Rush tags in, taunting Shibata with kicks before smacking him….which seems to be giving Shibata energy as usual. Katsuyori Shibata unleashes a barrage of punches and forearms on Rush in the corner turnbuckle. Rush gains the advantage back for a second, before Shibata unleashes some chops to Rush in the corner.

Back to the center of the ring, Shibata takes down Rush, with a chance to finally tag in one of the other OPPs members! Powerhouse Hobbs gets the tag, delivering a series of clotheslines to Dralistico and Beast Mortos. Beast Mortos starts to charge at Powerhouse Hobbs, but he is met with one of the best Spinebusters in the wrestling business!

Dralistico is on the apron, looking to leap in and deliver a move to Samoa Joe, who reverses this move into his submission finisher, the Coquina clutch. Dralisticos LFI members are unable to get into the ring to break up the submission, and Samoa Joe picks up the victory for the Opps.

That caps off the night with your mai…..wait a minute……

Renee Paquette is interviewing Hangman Adam Page as he is about to leave the arena when MJF launches a surprise attack on Hangman Adam Page. “You ain’t seen nothing left”, are the last words that MJF said to Hangman before he walked off, and the camera zoomed in on a fallen Hangman.

AEW Collision 8/9/25

Welcome to another episode of AEW Collision

This episode of Collision, is live from Roanoke, VA!

As usual, we have Nigel McGuiness and Tony Schiavone on commentary, along with actor Paul Walter Hauser

We start off the show with a match for the TNT Championship, with the champ “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher vs Tomohiro Ishii.
The match starts off with both competitors going forearm for forearm, with netiehr getting the advantage for at least a minute. They break in striking each other, to deliver forearm strikes once again. The two then exhange in a series of running shoulder blocks, with Tomohiro Ishii getting the advantage in this exchange. Unable to get a leg up in this matchup, Kyle Fletcher decides to get some much needed fresh air outside of the ring!

Back in the ring, Tomohiro Ishii had Kyle Fletcher on the corner, for a series of hard chops, but Fletcher is able to get a nice book to the face to put down his tough competitor. A little later in the match, Fletcher gets a nice powerslam on Ishii, before putting him in headlock. Ishii hits a “Backdrop Driver” on Fletcher to ease his momentum, but Kyle Fletcher would go on to hit a scoop slam powerbomb against Ishii, putting him down for a moment.

Back from commercial break, Ishii hits a suplex/brainbuster that has Kyle Fletcher visibly in agony. Kyle throws Ishii towards the ropes, but he returns with a football like shoulder block. Things don’t get much better for Kyle Fletcher, who is on the receiving end of a superplex from the top rope. Kyle Fletcher would get the momentum back with a nice flying kick, sending Ishii off the apron.

With both competitors on the apron, Fletcher looks to hit a big move here, starting with a kick and then a devastating brainbuster that has both competitors laying on the floor outside the ring! With a flying elbow, Fletcher gets a near 3 count off the top rope. Kyle Fletcher hits a nice running kick to Ishii against the rope, but Ishii once again bounces back quickly. A series of suplexes, kicks and forearm shots, sees both competitors on the mat, requiring the referees count.

Both competitors are back to their feet….and up to the top rope, with Tomohiro Ishii hitting a nice Ligerbomb from the top rope for a two count. Fletcher gets a knee the face of Ishii, and the two exchange a few strikes before Ishii performs a shoulder tackle to the midsection of Fletcher that looked very hilariously lackadaisical.

Kyle Fletcher throws Ishii to seperate corner turnbuckles for some kicks, and although Ishii fought back for a second, Kyle Fletcher would get the 3 count off of a delayed brainbuster. Kyle Fletcher retains his TNT Championship in a pretty solid match to start off this episode of AEW Collision.

Post Match: Kyle Fletcher gloats about his first win as the TNT championship, the first of many victories, in apparently the best title reign in AEW history. Kyle implores NJPW to send their best competition towards him at Forbidden Door in London.

Backstage Segment: Don Callis implores NJPW to send their best competition to face Kyle Fletcher at Forbidden Door London, echoing the sentiments of the TNT champion. Don Callis is fairly confident in his protegee, and states that he will take off his one a kind tie, and choke out the star after Fletcher gets the win.

Announcement: Four Way match for a shot at the NJPW World Championship!

Hechicero vs Nigel McGuinness vs Lee Moriarty vs Daniel Garcia for a chance to face Zach Sabre Jr at Forbidden Door in London on August 24.

Backstage segment: After a replay of the Gates of Agony and Ricochet attacking AEW personnel….

Ricochet demands that AEW gives them the respect that they deserve. I’m going to assume that they are talking about the trios championships.

Alicia Atout interviews Nick Wayne

Mother Wayne and Kip Sabian about their attack on Christian Cage last week. Sabian explains that no response is needed, considering Cage’s actions recently towards his former stable. After claiming that he is already a star, prodigy Nick Wayne arrogantly states that the “former patriarchy” will effectively end the career of Christian Cage! Considering that Cage has now aligned himself with Adam Copeland, will he have some help with facing his former family?

Next Match: Megan Bayne (alongside Penelope Cruz) vs Emily Rose, who is making her AEW debut much to the delight of the crowd (West Virginia native making her AEW debut in Virginia, what a moment!)

Megan Bayne starts off this contest with a phenomenal dropkick against Rose, before sending her into the corner turnbuckle for a nice butterfly suplex! The Megasus seems to be dominating this matchup completely, and is about to put this one away not too long before it started. Rose tried to mount some offense, before the very tough Megan Bayne. With Emily Rose up on the top rope, Megan Bayne picks her up for her patented powerbomb across the ring for the 1…..2….3!

Backstage Segment: The Learning Tree discusses their Juice Robinson problem.

Bad Apple Bryan Keith, talks about the brawl between Juice Robinson and Big Bill a few weeks ago. Keith states that Juice Robinson has problem with crossing lines, with Big Bill backing up the sentiment. Speaking of Juice Robinson…….

Next match: Juice Robinson (Alongside Colten Gunn, CardBlade and CardGunn) (Extended Match Walkthrough)

Juice Robinson has looked absolutely dominant in his return to AEW Dynamite, having to shoulder more of the load in the group, with the unfortunate injury to Colten Gunn. His opponent is Ricochet, whose alliance with the Gates of Agony, are wreaking havok all over AEW. The Gunns at full strength against Ricochet and the Gates of Agony, would make a for a great rivalry to be honest.

The match starts with fans chanting “Juice!”, just showing that the fans agree with Juice Robinson’s returning from injury. Ricochet quickly jumps off the apron and threatens to leave the arena before the match can even get started. The referee has to direct him back into the ring, where Juice Robinson awaits, giving Richochet a nice slap on the chest to wake him up. I’m not sure what’s going on with Ricochet, as he keeps running outside of the ring, avoiding getting tangled up with Juice. With Colten Gunn and the Cardhomies waiting on the other side, Ricochet scurries to the other side.

After knocking down the Cardhomies, Ricochet goes back into the ring and tries to get a one up on Juice Robinson, before Juice slaps him on his head. A big back body drop puts Ricochet down for a 2 count. Juice Robinson has complete control of this matchup, with a nice headbutt to Ricochet in the corner, followed up with a 10 punches to the head.

Unfortunately, we knew that a Gates of Agony interference would happen eventually, and it did. This allows Ricochet to get the advantage on the outside of the ring, before going back into the ring. The Gates of Agony are furious, imploring the referee to speed up his count.

Ricochet tries to go for the win, but Juice Robinson counters with a forearm shot, before Ricochet puts him down to get the advantage back. Battling with a test of strength, both competitors get back to their feet, with Juice Robinson getting a fantastic Spine Buster on Ricochet. The two then stand up again, for a sequence of punches from Juice Robinson, with one final straight left dropping Ricochet.

Juice Robinson is looking very impressive here, with absolutely no ring rust since his return. Ricochet his Juice Robinson with a nice series of kicks and knees. He picks up Juice but as he counters, Ricochet gets the roll up pin for 2. Juice returns with a 2 count pin of his own. Ricochet jumps off the ropes for a phenomenal fire arm and a shooting star press for a 2 count. Juice Robinson hits a faceplant maneuver for a 2 count.

Dang it! Big Bill gets into the ring for a big boot on Juice Robinson before Ricochet hits his finishing elbow for the 1…2…3! The Learning Tree looks on down the ramp as the Gates of Agony celebrate their win.

Vignettes for the rivalry between Toni Storm and Athena, and Max Caster finally getting a win in his challenge tournament.

Backstage interview: Lexy Nair interviews Max Caster who…

finally got a victory in his 5 minute challenge series against Rush. For such a tough opponent, this is a major victory in the career of Max Caster. Max Caster doesn’t thank JetSpeed for helping him fend off LFI, and basically say thanks but no thanks to them. Max Caster is still betting on himself and believes that he can do this all himself.

This seems to very big milestone in the life/career of Max Caster, because he is very energetic….even cutting off Lexy Nair to start doing pushups while saying his catch phrase “Let’s go Max, you’re the best wrestler alive!”….This catchphrase still needs a bit of work to it, but it’s alright I guess.

Harley Cameron is set to return soon, so AEW fans, get ready to FEEL THE WRATH once again!

Next Match: Hechicero goes one on one with AR Foxx (Daniel Garcia joins the commentary team!).
One of AEW’s recent signings and newer members of the Don Callis family, Hechichero is about to have a nice fast paced matchup vs AR Foxx (I believe)…wait a minute.

The bell rings, and Hechicero immediately jumps on AR Foxx, with the Shane Taylor promotions watching on a monitor in the backstage area. Ar Foxx reverses an Irish Whip attempt from Hechicero with a slingblade and a couple of Tope Suicidios from the middle rope! The third dive to the outside, sees Ar Foxx showing off his hops, with great height leaping over the top rope to Hechicero outside!

Back in the ring, AR Foxx attempts a tornado DDT, but Hechicero reverses it, hitting AR Foxx with a nice dropkick in the corner. This puts AR Foxx own in the corner, with Hechicero taking advantage of the 5 count.

To note, Daniel Garcia on commentary was a great move, along with guest Paul Walter Hauser.

Hechicero, on the apron, stomps on AR Foxx’s leg on the ropes. He then throws Foxx to a chair in the corner, taking his time before delivering a running big boot! AR Foxx looks to battle back, but Hechicero puts him back in the ring. AR Foxx runs into a spinning lariat from Hechicero, with the crowd getting into the match, trying to will on Foxx! AR Foxx, feeling the energy of the crowd, leaps off of the top rope for a Swanton Bomb and two count on Hechicero…that was close!

AR Foxx attempts a 450 splash but Hechicero moves out the way, and counters into a rear chin lock submission, which quickly causes AR Foxx to tap out! Lee Moriarty (and Shane Taylor Promotions), Daniel Garcia and Nigel McGuinness definitely took notice of Hechiceros performance tonight, as these four face off next week for a chance to face Zack Sabre Jr at Forbidden Door!

Next matchup: An “Injured” Stokley Hathaway, teams up with FTR to take on local talent.
The “local talent” (Ryan Zukko, Joe Keys and Josh Fuller), look like they should be able to handle a team with a hobbled Stokley, but we shall see. The bell rings with Cash Wheeler going one on one with Joe Keys (10 year wrestling vet as mentioned by commentary). After a quick tie up, we see both competitors tag out, with Dax Harwood tagging in to deliver some chops and straight right punches to Ryan Zukko. Ryan Zukko gets to his corner, to tag in Josh Fuller (7 year wrestling vet, also mentioned by commentary).

Dax Harwood delivers a clothesline to Josh Fuller, along with a suplex and a couple leg dropps. Harwood brings Fuller to his corner, to get a tag to Stokley Hathaway, with Stokley getting a punch in on Josh Fuller. The…injured Stokley Hathaway, quickly gets back to his corner, to tag in Cash Wheeler. Josh Fuller finally mounts some offense, with a couple of jumping kicks on FTR. Ryan Zukko tags in hoping to capitalize, but FTR gets the team finisher in before Stokley leaps of the rope for a team piledriver.

1…..2……3! Adam Copeland should be on notice, because…not injured Stokley Hathaway just helped FTR to secure a victory in trios action!

Next Match: The Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue) are set to face off against the team of Tay Melo, Queen Aminata and Willow Nightengale. (Extended Walkthrough).

To start the match off, rivals Queen Aminata and Thekla start off…with Aminata starting to hit her “Chocolate Kisses” (hip thrust…..) maneuver. Skye Blue runs into the ring and breaks it up with a drop kick. We see some good tag team cohesion between Thekla and Julia Hart (The Triangle of Madness in general).

Queen Aminata gets the tag to Tay Melo, who gets a couple arm drag takedowns on Julia Hart for a 2 count! Tay Melo then tags in WIllow Nightengale, who almost gets 10 clotheslines on Julia Hart, before Thekla intereferes. This didn’t go in their favor tho, as Willow was able to get a double suplex on Hart and Thekla.

In the middle of the ring, Willow NIghtingale has Skye Blue in a submission, when her tag team partners kick Hart and Thekla out of the ring. They then perform a trios submission of sorts that looks like a medieval machine that pulls someone apart…ouch.

The Triangle of Madness finally get the advantage back in this matchup, as they have Willow Nightingale in their corner. Julia Hart gets the tag in, gets a one count on Willow, before driving her knee into the back of the head of Willow against the ropes.

Thekla tags in and gets a tarantula submission on Willow, with the Triangle of Madness applauding her. Queen Aminata gets into the ring to take down Skye Blue, before all of the women in this match perform a series of signature moves.

Once again, Willow Nightingale and Thekla are in the ring, with Aminata and Skye Blue pleading to be tagged in. They do tag in, and Aminata gets the advantage, with a nice spinning neckbreaker on Skye Blue (Julia Hart breaks it up).

Ty Melo brings some energy, delivering stomps to Skye Blue in the corner, before Thekla interferes. Thekla gets chucked out of the way with a running shoulder block from Willow. Back in the ring, Julia Hart interrupts a submission from Ty Melo to Skye Blue, and with a team finisher, the Triangle of Madness win this very exciting matchup!

Before commercial break, we are treated to a nice promo from Scorpio Sky and Skyflight (Top Flight collab). This is a high flying, fast paced tag team matchup that will prove to bring some excited to the AEW tag team division!

Next segment: Not so exciting is Stokley gloating about his win tonight.

Stokley talks about how he is going to beat Adam Copeland in his one on one match with him next week and make him his h….gardening tool. Dax Harwood continues the promo, disregarding his family in order to focus on FTR’s matchup against the Hurt Syndicate!

The Max Caster challenge lives on…

Max Caster, still reeling off of his win against Rush last week, now has to face…Katsuyori Shibata! Shibata, a trios champion alongside Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs, is the latest wrestler to allow Max Caster to survive for 5 minutes.

Not sparing Max Caster any emotion, Shibata is just chopping the ever living something out of Caster’s chest. Max Caster really has to endure 4 more minutes of this, getting chopped, and tossed around the ring like a ragdoll.

Wait a minute….Max Caster is starting to mount some offense with a quick roll up pin for two…but Shibata continues his offensive barrage with a sleeper hold on Caster who is fading fast. Shibata would finish this match with a PK (Punt Kick). Welp, I thought for sure that Max Caster would go 2-0 in two weeks, but I guess not. Maybe a moral victory will do……or some sportsmanship from Shibata.

Eh….that was shortlived, as LFI pounces on Shibata and Caster, before Casters reluctant help arrives. Jetspeed runs down to the ring, to ward off LFI and help Shibata and Caster!

Main Event Time: AEW World Heavyweight Champion Hangman Adam Page, teams up with JetSpeed in his hometown!

Hangman Adam Page in his home state of Virginia, starts this matchup vs Beast Mortos, taking Beast Mortos out with a big boot! Hangman Adam Page looks so focused, with Rush now in the ring to face of against him. The two competitors go forearm for forearm and then chop for chop, getting OH’s and AH’s from this raucous Roanoke, VA crowd!

The rest of LFI jumps into the ring to take out Hangman Adam Page, but not before JetSpeed intervenes. Hangman Adam Page would then go to the top rope to take out Rush on the outside, with a moonsault that brings his hometown to their feet with cheers!.

Cowboy Sh is the phrase tonight. Back in the ring tho, Hangman Adam Page and Rush continue their exchange, with Rush having the advantage before tagging in Dralistico!. Dralistico and Hangman Adam Page go chop for chop, before Hangman Adam Page hits Dralistico with a tilt a world backbreaker!

Jetspeed hits a double face buster and drop kick combo, before “Speedball” Mike Bailey gets the two count on Dralistico! Dralistico pushes Bailey back to his corner, with Rush tagging back in again for a chop and series of running clotheslines in succession from LFI! Mike Bailey is back in the corner of LFI, with Beast Mortos tagging back in for a nice chop to the chest of Bailey followed with a spinning neckbreaker.

Mike Bailey is able to get to his corner, and his tag team partner Kevin Knight, who gets a nice jumping clothesline on Dralistico! A scoop slam puts Rush on the mat, but he gets a nice chop on KNight. Kevin KNight is now in the ring vs Dralistico, getting him off the top rope with a a head scissors!

The team of Hangman Adam Page and Jetspeed are in full control of this match at this point. That is short lived, as Dralistico puts Kevin Knight in a Boston Crab back in the ring. So much action this match, even in the final minutes.

Kevin Knight tags in Hangman Adam Page, who delivers a big boot to Rush and rains down some forearm shots to Rush in the corner. Beast Mortos couldn’t save Rush, before Hangman delivers a jumping lariat from the second rope. Hangman then leaps over the rope to take out Beast Mortos. A Death Valley Driver gets a two count on Rush, with this Roanake crowd electric as ever!

A series of maneuvers, sees LFI almost get the pin over Hangman in his hometown, but the AEW World Champion kicks out at two! Dralistico whips Hangman into the corner, before Beast Mortos delivers a back stabber. JetSpeed breaks up LFI’s offense, with Rush leaping to the outside and Dralistico in the ring to try and seal the victory for LFI….welp, that was before he jumped into a powerbomb from Hangman Adam Page!

Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight leap over the ring to take out Rush and Beast Mortos, before Hangman Adam Page hits Dralistico with a Buckshot Lariat to take out Dralistico and secure the victory for his team!

AEW Dynamite 8/6/2025

First Match: An interesting match up between Jon Moxley and….

Speedball Mike Bailey. Mike Bailey started this matchup, kicking Jon Moxley into the corner but Mox pushed him into the corner for a couple of punches to the head. With a nice headlock on Mike Bailey, Jon Moxley is controlling this match very nicely. Mike Bailey attempts a springboard maneuver, with Moxley avoiding it for a moment, before Mike Bailey hits him with a nice dropkick!

Considering that I know Mike Baileys work in TNA, it’s no surprise to me that he’s doing so well against Moxley thus far. With a nice snap of Moxley’s arm, Mike Bailey his a nice Shooting Star Press for a 2 count! Moxley counters a triangle attempt from Mike Bailey, but Bailey ends up switching it into an armbar attempt.

The Death Riders would make their presence known in this match, which Marina Shafir sweeping the legs of Mike Bailey. This would cause Kevin Knight to approach Shafir, taking up for his tag team partner. After sharing a brief confrontation with Jon Moxley, Mike Bailey jumps off the top rope for a moonsault to the Mox on the outside.

Backstage segment: Renee Paquette interviews Toni Storm and Alex Windsor backstage!

Alex Windsor is involved in the upcoming 4 way qualifier for the TBS championship, and claims that the other 3 competitors need to hit her hard enough for the back row to hear it. After a couple of Toni Storm innuendos, Alex Windsor seems to be picking up on her personality. Either way, Alex Windsor has a fantastic oppurtunity coming to earn a match vs Mercedes Mone for the title at Forbidden Door in London!

Next segment: Darby Allin sends a direct message to Wheeler Yuta, a challenge for Forbidden Door.
After the events of the match to start the show, Darby Allin has effectively stapled a note to the top of Wheeler Yuta’s head with two words… Forbidden Door. Unfortunately for the Death Riders, Darby Allin has already ridden off into the sun, or t least out of the parking lot, leaving the Death Riders to wait another week just to face him!

Next Match: 4 way Qualifier match, with the winner facing Mercedes Mone at Forbidden Door.

Billie Starkz vs Skye Blue vs Queen Aminata vs Alex Windsor

Billie Starkz has been taken out of action for the moment, with a nice one one, Queen Aminata vs Alex Windosr. Skye Blue and Billie Starkz joins the action, but Windsor counters an Irish whip into a nice DDT for a quick cover. With Skye Blue and Alex Windsor currently in the ring, Skye hits a nice Hurricanrana on Alex Windsor. Who called Air Billie? Starkz flies over the ropes to take out her 3 opponents!

Back from commercial break, Billie Starkz and Ale Windsor go at it, continuing their feud as of late. Windsor would get Billie, with a phenomenal powerbomb for a 2 count. Queen Aminata enters the fray, prompting Skye Blue to enter the ring, causing all four women to go at it. Skye Blue has the momentum for a moment, hitting a Code Blue to Windsor, before Queen Aminata breaks it up.

With her minion in the ring, Athena looks to interfere in the match, before Toni Storm pulls her out of the ring. A forearm from Toni Storm, would neutralize Athena, allowing Alex Windsor to get the victory over Billie Starkz.

This win, would guarentee a TBS Championship title shot for Alex Windsor, at AEW/NJPW Forbidden door in London!

Next segment: Don Callis pays tribute to your new TNT Champion, Kyle Fletcher!

In this segment, Don Callis and the rest of his stable make their way to the ring, with a gift awaiting the new TNT champion Kyle Fletcher. After continuing to build up the ego of his prodigy Kyle Fletcher, Don Callis reveals a less than flattering painting of Kyle Fletcher and himself…but buff (The actual painter is pretty cool tbh). Kyle Fletcher then claims that he will be the TNT champion for a very(x4) long time.

If you didn’t watch the TNT championship between Kyle Fletcher and Dustin Rhodes, you need to go back and watch it.

Backstage Interview: After a flashback to Adam Copeland spearing..

the heck out of Stokley, Alicia Atout interviews Cope about everything that’s going on with him in AEW. Adam Copeland is currently involved in rivalries with FTR and The Patriarchy (mainly trying to get Christian Cage to learn the error of his ways). Copeland states that Christian Cage has his hands full with his own former stable, now turning his sole attention to FTR. Adam Copeland make a bombshell of a match announcement, stating that he will go one on one with…Stokley. Welp, Stokley, it’s time to get ready for a match!

Next Match: Brodie King and Bandido vs …Local Bucks
After complaining to the AEW production crew, the Young Bucks seem to be in worse luck now with arguably the most horrible entrance in AEW history. After having the budget for their entrance reduced once again, the Young Bucks are now more fed up than ever with what AEW is putting them through!

The match begins now with Matt Jackson and Bandido going at it with some high flyer moves, Matt Jackson matching well with the Luchador style of Bandido. This is before Bandido would take control of this matchup, with a huge crossbody on both members of the Young Bucks. Big Brodie King would now enter the ring, putting Bandido up on the ropes, to perform a moonsault to the Young Bucks on the outside.

Brodie King would then sit the Young Bucks together in a chair against the barricade, before flattening them with a nice running crossbody! Back from commericial break, and Brodie King hits Matt Jackson with a nice chop, before Nick Jackson and his brother would put Brodie down for a 2 count!

The Young Bucks have a hilarious moment in this match, going for their EVP trigger on Bandido, but they can no longer use that name due to… copyright I guess 😌. This would cost them, as they attempt their tag team finisher, but Bandido moves out the way, forcing them to go knee to knee (That has to hurt). Brodie Lee would capitalize on this a little later, hitting a huge Superplex on Matt Jackson. Nick Jackson would then hit a huge Canadian Destroyer on Bandido!

The Young Bucks almost get the 3 count off of an EVP trigger, but Brodie King leaps to break up the count. He would then get Matt Jackson up for a Death Valley Driver on the apron! One heck of a matchup, with fantastic pin break ups and count ups. Finisher after finisher, and this match continues. It took some teamwork from Brodie King and Bandido, along with Brodie King keeping Matt Jackson out of the ring, to secure the victory!

Backstage segment: Renee Paquette interviews tha Hurt Syndicate when..

MJF is seeking to find one last way to stay in the Hurt Syndicate. He has been building up several feuds, but it seems that he will now be going at it alone, with his mentor MJF giving the final thumbs down to officially kick MJF out of the Hurt Syndicate.

Main Event Time: MJF vs Mark Briscoe.

Backstage segment: Does MJF have one more chance?

We see Renee Paquette backstage interviewing the Hurt Syndicate, when MFJ intervenes. Over the past few weeks, he has been alienating the members one by one. His last saving grace, was…to get in the good graces of the leader and his mentor, MVP. MVP, delivers some bad news to MJF tho, giving him the final thumbs down and effectively kicking him out of the group.

With MJF having to do battle with Mark Briscoe tonight and Hangman Adam Page in the near future, he has no back up. MJF is one of the best competitiors in AEW and I believe that he can win the championship on his own, but does he believe that?

Next segment: Alicia Atout is having a backstage interview with FTR and Stokley.

It seems like Stokley has alot of frustrations here, as he vents to his team and Alicia about alot of shortcomings in his life, one including not being able to find a girlfriend. I think that Stokley needs to focus tho, as he has a hue match coming up soon, against…Adam Copeland himself.

Main Event: We finally get to see MJF in a match.

I mentioned that MJF has building up a couple rivalries as of late, and that includes Mark Briscoe, who has been subject to MJF’s obscene comments towards his late brother.

Considering the nature of this match, it does make sense that the two competitors would see themselves in the crowd early on. Mark Briscoe chases MJF up the stairs, to the cheers of the crowd, as the two brawl on the outside!

AEW Collision 7/31/2025

AEW Archives 2025

Happy Birthday, to all of the recent birthdays in AEW/ROH!

Starting off the show, The Deathriders have decided to…

start off this episode of AEW Collision, taking out the security guards ringside. Jon Moxley then gets in the ring, with a microphone in hand, and I have a feeling that his is going to continue his rant about Hangman Ad….wait a minute. Instead of ranting about Hangman Adam Page, Jon Moxley decides to talk about the returning Darby Allin, who lingered in the arena for weeks.

Darby Allin finally launched an attack on the Deathriders (during the no interference match between Hangman Adam Page and Jon Moxley). Darby Allin makes an appearance on Collision, before walking away, causing the Deathriders to chase him.

Opening Match of AEW Collision: Tag Team Tournament Eliminator match
Next in the AEW Tag Team eliminator tournament is an exciting contest, between Brodido (Brodie King and Bandido) vs the Gates of Agony (Tonga Liona and Bishop Khan).

This tag team eliminator match starts with Bishop Khan and Bandido. Tonga Liona tags in, attempting to remove the mask of Bandido. With Brodie King tagging in, we have two of the heavyweights in AEW going at it. The two exchange large strikes and clotheslines. Brodie King uses Bandido as a sling shot on Bishop Khan, before the tag team turn their attention to Tonga Liona.

You have to admit, that Brodie King and Bandido have been a solid tag team thus far, with the crowd reaction backing up this sentiment.

We return from commercial break, with the Gates of Agony in control, Brodie King gets the tag in. With instant offense, he chops through both members of the Gates of Agony. Brodie King should be called the “King of the Cannonball”, as he hits a picture perfect one to Tonga Liona in the ring, before Brodido does a double diver outside of the ring!

Back in the ring, Bishop Khan is only able to get a two count on Bandido. Even the Gates of Agony team finisher doesn’t get the win, especially with Brodie King interfering. With a Death Valley Driver to the apron, Brodie King takes Tonga Liona out of the equation!

Brodido would capitalize on this, with Brodie King launching Bandido onto Bishop Kahn with a Monkey Flip for the 1….. 2…. 3! Brodido has advanced to the semi final round of the AEW Tag Team Tournament, facing Local Talent (FKA the Young Bucks).

Next Segment: Lexi Nair interviews Don Callis and Lance Archer when..

Shane Taylor shows up, wondering when he’s going to get a cut of his money from the Tag Team match on Collision.

Lexi Nair interviews the Clonglomeration, who…

recounts their Birthday Bash…It seems as tho Kyle O’Reilley seems more excited than Roderick Strong about this. They are then joined by Tomohiro Ishii, Hologram and Willow Nightingale.

Next Match: Kris Statlander takes on a fierce competitor in..

Lena Kross (Someone that I know to be a very good competitor). Nice to Kross in AEW, and her skills show, as she delivers a nice big boot and German Suplex to Kris Statlander early on. Statlander would turn the tides quickly with a big boot to the corner, and….a new submission, quickly causing Lena Kross to submit.

Wait a minute…we have a moment between former best friends, as Willow Nightingale makes her entrance right after Statlander’s match ends.

Next Match: Willow Nightingale vs Thekla (alongside “Triangle of Madness members, Julia Hart and Skye Blue)

This is one of the most anticipated matchups in AEW right now, with the all around loveable personality of Willow Nightingale, goes up against the fierceness of Thekla. Thekla, who has been living up to her hype since joining AEW, is giving Willow Nightingale some trouble early on.

Thekla gains back control for a moment, with a forearm strike to Willow Nighengale, who hits a lariat to her on the apron. Thekla kicks out of a vicious Death Valley Drivers (2 count), with Willow trying to continue the momentum after. Thekla, up on the tope rope, attempts to superplex Willow to the ring, and she hits a modified superplex.

Outside of the ring, Thekla throw Willow Nightingale into the steel steps, as Julia Hart and Skye Blue clap in approval. We return from commercial break, with Willow Nightingale getting back the advantage, with an emphatic dropkick off the top rope.

Willow, with a nice cannonball to Thekla in the corner, looks to finish the match, but an interference from the “Triangle of Madness” occurs. Thekla hits a nice spear and stomp to willow, much to the dissatisfaction of the fans, who wanted fan favorite Willow Nightingale to win.

I think this was a fantastic match and finish to be honest.

Post Match: Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford join..

the Triangle of Madness in an assault on Willow Nightingale when..

Queen Aminata walks down to the ring with reinforcements. Anna Jay and Tay Melo back up Queen Aminata, who has had her issues with Thekla and Triangle of Madness recently.

Next segment: Lexi Nair interview Billie Gunn when..

Anthony Bowens interrupts the interview, to continue venting his frustrations about Max Caster. Bowens doesn’t believe that Billie Gunn has his back, because of the concern that Billie Gunn showed to Caster after his match with old friend Anthony Bowens.

Billie Gunn in the middle of two feuding former teammates here, and at some point, it looks like he has to pick a side. This is why Anthony Bowens is upset; because he feels that Billie Gunn is catering too much to Max Caster and ignoring the circumstance for why the stable broke up in the first place.

Next segment: Don Callis and Kazushika Okada speak.

Next Match: FTR (flanked by Stokley) face the Gunns (Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson)!

This match starts off with Juice Robinson vs Dax Harwood, with Juice Robinson seeming so invigorated since his return. Austin Gunn tags in, representing the team with his brother Colten out of action for the moment.

Austin Gunn goes toe to toe with Dax Harwood, before tagging back in Juice Robinson. Dax Harwood hits Juice Robinson with a hard chop, before receiving a hard chop in return.

Juice Robinson is having to fend off both members of FTR, before Austin enters the ring to back him up. Two double back body drops, and double clotheslines, send FTR outside of the ring!

Back from commercial break, Austin Gunn tries to make his way to tag Juice Robinson, but FTR blocks the refs view. With the referee distracted, FTR tries a double team move, with Dax Harwood only gets a 2 count!

Austin Gunn finally gets the tag to Juice Robinson, who hits a ton of jabs to Juice Robinson, before a huge Spinebuster on Dax Harwood. FTR recovers from this, trying to get a sneaky win with Stokley’s help, but the Bang Bang Gang (Gunns) only allow a 2 count!

A superplex to Cash Wheeler and a frog splash from Juice Robinson, only get the 2 count.
this match is fully of near falls. Juice Robinson goes for multiple pin counts on Dax Harwood, to no avail. Stokley, once against inserting himself into this matchup, allows Dax Harwood to get the unclean 3 count, to advance FTR to the semi finals!

Next Segment: Athena directs her attention to the AEW Fans

Athena asks the AEW fans if they are not entertained with her run thus far, as the Summer of Athena continues on. Athena says that she will sign the contract match on her own time, and will take on Toni Storm very soon. Very soon…has turned into official. Toni Storm vs Athena is official, for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door in London!

Next Segment: Max Caster once against implores the Chicago crowd to respect him.

Not sure why, but this Chicago crowd surprisingly loves Max, despite him continuously insulting him during AEW’s residency there.

Max Casters opponent is…

LFI leader Rush (Walking to the ring with LFI members Beast Mortos and Dralistico).

Max Caster has decided to switch up his strategy this week, to ensure a victory in his challenge series. Caster, decides to run around the ring, avoiding his opponent for a good chunk of this 5 minute challenge.

Rush has finally caught up with Max Caster, beating him up against the barricade before throwing him back in the ring. Wait a minute….Max Caster finally gets some offense in, leaping over the ring, taking out Rush for the moment.

As the match continues, Rush would launch an all out assault on Max Caster, going past the 5 minute time limit. His LFI stablemates would join in on the assault. This would prompt JetSpeed (Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight) alongside AR Foxx, to send LFI running.

This match ends in a different manner than most Max Caster’s matchups thus far…with him laying on the ground, but still lifting his arm up in victory!

Co-Main Event: Mega Tag Team Matchup!
To note, before the matchup, we have a nice recap of Mercedes Mone vs Saffire Reed in RevPro UK!

Back to the Main Event Tag Team Match, we have Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, the Infantry’s Captain Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo, alongside Trish Adora and Anthony Agogo) vs Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) and Scorpio Sky (Sky Flight, Alongside Christopher Daniels and Leila Grey!)

This match stars with Scorpio Sky going against Shawn Taylor, with his stablemates pouncing on Sky is the corner. Scorpio Sky goes up against Carlie Bravo for a moment, before tagging in Darius Martin. Darius Martin gets a one count off of some Top Flight Top team moves. Shane Taylor, however, ends up laying a leg drop on the back of Darius on the apron, with Carlie Bravo following with a diving elbow!

Back from commercial break, the Infantry go after Dante Martin, but he handles both members. A nice kick and a leaping cross body, allows Dante Martin to get a 2 count on Captain Sean Dean! Dean would move Dante Carter back to the corner for a tag to Shane Taylor, followed with 2 consecutive tags to Carlie Bravo and back to Captain Sean Dean. Dante Martin outlasted this strategy.

With top flight neutralizing most of Shane Taylor promotions on the outside, Scorpio Sky was able to his a finisher on Carlie Bravo. This would be Sky Flight’s first win together!…wait a minute

Main Event: Dustin Rhodes vs Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship!

After weeks of being interrupted after his matches by Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher, Dustin Rhodes finally has a chance to settle the score in a match for his TNT Championship!

Very awesome to hear Dustin Rhodes approach the ring, with his original theme music from his beginnings in wrestling!

This TNT championship match stars with Kyle Fletcher pushing Dustin Rhodes and trash talking him, waking up the beast in Rhodes, who already has a bone to pick with Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher, attempting to use a Kendo Stick, ends up receiving a shot from it from Dustin Rhodes! Kyle Fletcher turns up turning the tides tho, with a DDT to Dustin on the steel steps.

One thing that I know about wrestling fans, is that they go crazy for table spots, and with Kyle Fletcher being sent through one, I think the fans got what they wanted! Back in the ring tho, Dustin Rhodes introduces a cowbell (a nod to Texas/Southern culture, and his father, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes). A hit over the head with the cowbell, gets Dustin Rhodes a 2 pin count. I mentioned the fans love of tables earlier, as it seem that Kyle Fletcher gets some revenge by throwing Dustin Rhodes into a table on the outside.

Back in the ring, Dustin Rhodes would hit an amazing…Amazing Red on Kyle Fletcher for 2. Dustin would then hit a Rhodes family special, with a Cross Rhodes on Kyle Fletcher for another 2 count! With both competitors wielding chairs in the ring, Dustin Rhodes would get the advantage off the exhange, but not before Fletcher superkicks a chair to his face.

Kyle Fletcher plants Dustin Rhodes, with a tombstone on two chairs places side by side (which I’ve never seen done on chairs like that), for a 2 count.

Dustin Rhodes goes to the top rope, with Kyle Fletcher in tow, and hits another Amazing Red to a table below!!!!!!!!

1……2 ……… 2! Dustin Rhodes only gets a 2 count! Dustin would get go under the ring…..for a glove, with pins attached to the inner part of it. He uses this is puncture the head of Kyle Fletcher, drawing a little bit of blood.

Kyle Fletcher would bring a bag of thumbtacks into the ring, hoping to get Dustin with them, but Dustin reverse a suplex attempt…pinning Fletcher into the thumbtacks himself!

Dustin Rhodes would then up the ante, taking his usual corner tunbuckle finisher (a kick to the crown jewels) and put thumbtacks into the tights of Fletcher before kicking him. I can feel that pain, but Kyle Fletcher battles through it.

Kyle Fletcher, sadistically takes a screwdriver, and stabs the left knee of Dustin Rhodes…knees that have been giving him problems through this rivalry (that’s great storytelling!). After AEW staff checks on Dustin, Kyle Fletcher would hit a brainbuster to Dustin Rhodes on the thumbtacks still on the mat for… 1……. 2….. 3……!

Kyle Fletcher is your new AEW TNT Champion!!! This doesn’t fulfill him tho, as he goes to attack Dustin Rhodes again with a steel chair to the knee. Literally adding insult to injury.

I said earlier this year that Kyle Fletcher would hold singles gold this year in AEW, and now he is your AEW TNT Champion!

Thank you all for tuning into AEW Collision this week, as we continue to make progress towards Forbidden Door. The matchups are exciting, just as much as the buildup. London, get ready!

First Match: The Outrunner vs The Youn….Local Talent?
The match starts off with Truth Magnum in the ring with Matthew Jackson, with Truth getting the advantage early with an arm drag. With a tag to Turbo Floyd, all four members of this contest are in the ring, with the Outrunners still holding the advantage.

Looks like the Local Talent could use a bit of momentum in this match, which it seems like they get it, with a double suicide dive outside of the ring. Back in the ring, Matthew Jackson is one on one with Turbo Floyd, attempting to suplex him but decided to tag in his brother instead. Is the strength of the Outrunners too much for the Local Talent?

Matt Jackson leaps off the top rope to take out Turbo Floyd, before talking smack to the commentary team. The… Local Talent is fully in control of this matchup! Back from commercial break and Nick Jackson is in the ring with Truth Magnum, with the Local Talent still in the lead.

Matt Jackson hits a nice kick and cutter move off the apron to Turbo Floyd. This is interesting…I’ve never really heard of the Outrunners really getting dominated like this! Nick Jackson gets a 2 count pin on Truth Magnum, with his tag team partner imploring him to get the tag.

Finally, Turbo Floyd gets the tag, and couple of huge power slams! The Outrunners are finally starting to get their momentum going vs Matt and Nick Jackson! Superkicks from the Local Talent, only add fuel to Turbo Floyd, as he hits them with a double clothesline and a two count pin! Matt Jackson would accidently super kick Nick Jackson later in the match, almost securing the 3 count! To secure a victory and advancement in the tag team eliminator tournament, The Local Talen hit a huge TK Driver team finisher to secure the win!

Next Segment: Renee Paquette interview Mark Briscoe about MJF

Mark Briscoe starts to talk about his very frustrating opponent in MJF, when he is interrupted by Ricochet and the Gate of Agony. Ricochet tells Mark Briscoe that instead of focusing on MJF, he needs to stop overlooking his match against Ricochet tonight!

Post Match: Kushizka Okada walks down to the ring…
to help Matt and Nick Jackson overpower the Outrunners. This isn’t before Swerv Strickland and Prince Nana make their way down to the ring to even the odds! Swerv Strickland teaming with the Outrunners…very interesting pairing, but I’m also very much looking forward to this tag team!

MJF confronts the current status of the Hurt Syndicate.
MJF wants to work things out with Shelton Benjamin, seemingly making his way back into the Hurt Syndicate. Unfortunately, MVP and Bobby Lashley aren’t there tonight, and according to Shelton Benjamin, MJF is out of the Hurt Syndicate. MJF now has to face Hangman Adam Page without anyone to have his back. His only saving grace, is if MVP (who has already stuck up for him), decides to give him another chance. We shall see what happens next week on AEW Dynamite, as we continue the build up towards AEW All Out.

Next Segment: Tony Schiavone interview Christian Cage who…
has to give his reaction to Adam Copeland telling him to “find himself”. Christian Cage starts off this segment, confessing to the AEW that he is indeed…an a**hole. He admits, that at AEW Revolution (In LA) , he was confronted with feelings of the past. Christian Cage let emotions get the best of him, and cost him the match.

Christian Cage would go on to direct his energy towards the Patriarchy, who he states does not have any business confronting him. Christian Cage also admits that he didn’t believe in his group, and that he had to take some risk as a result of that.

Christian Cage, after admitting to be an a**hole, continues to be one, after he doubles down on some unsavory statements he made about Adam Copeland and his family.

Christian would then go on to insult the Patriarchy, even going as far as talking down on Nick Waynes deceased Father (Shana Wayne’s Husband). The Patriarchy would then launch a sneak attack on Christian Cage, followed with a double chair shot to the head!

Christian Cage could have easily apologized, and gained back the disrespect of his “family”, but doubling down on the disrespect has officially made them turn on him.

If Christian is still in the hunt for gold, he is going to have to watch out for his former family.

Next Match: An interesting spot for this caliber of a matchup….. (Extended Review/Play by Play)
This next matchup, is one that is certified PPV content. Newly crowned champion, Hangman Adam Page, has to face a bitter Jon Moxley. Jon Moxley still refuses to admit that he was forced to tap out to Hangman Adam Page at All in Texas. Even the prefight introductions had electricity behind them, with a nice shot of Moxley looking onward to Hangman Adam Page.

The match starts with Hangman Adam Page, delivering a barrage of shots to Jon Moxley. The two competitors would then tee off in the middle of the ring, delivering chops back and forth. Not seeing an advantage in sight, Jon Moxley decided to bite the forehead of Hangman Adam Page.

Next up, is some nice story telling, as Hangman Adam Page puts a chokehold on Jon Moxley from the top rope. Jon Moxley looked the same, as when Hangman Adam Page choked him with his chain, to win the match at All In.

The action goes outside of the ring for a moment, with Hangman Adam Page clotheslining Mox across the time keepers area. Back in the ring, Hangman has the advantage for a moment, before Mox takes it back. The fans try to get into the head of Mox, chanting “You tapped Out”, which only seems to fuel him.

After a couple of German Suplexes, Hangman Adam Page delivers a modified Buckshot Lariat of sorts. With Hangman on the mat, and Mox outside of the ring, the fans start chanting loudly! Hangman launches himself outside of the ring, much to the delight of the fans, who cheer him on from ringside.

Hangman Adam Page gets a 2 count pin, off a Death Valley Drivers, but Jon Moxley puts him into a Kimora lock on the ground. As we come back from commercial break, Jon Moxley has the momentum, punishing Hangman Adam Page with kicks to the chest. Hangman looks to be getting energy from these kicks, and this holds true, as he catches the leg of Moxley.

With the two competitors goes back and forth with forearm strikes, to yeahs and boos from the crowd, Moxley decides to bite the forehead of Hangman once again!

Outside of the ring, Jon Moxley picks Hangman Adam Page up on the announce table, but Hangman counters it into a Dead Eyes (Reverse Pile Driver).

Even though security was ringside to make sure that the no interference stipulation held up, the Death Riders still managed to make their presence known. Referees and AEW staff have to ward them off, but not before the mysterious Darby Allin makes his presence known as well. Darby Allin would leap off the balcony to the Deathriders below. This would allow Hangman Adam Page to deliver a thunderous Buckshot Lariat to retain his title, and walk off in Glory, just like at All In Texas!

Next Match: Athena and Billie Starkz vs Toni Storm, and Alex Windsor! (Extended Notes/Review)

The match opens with some “she is timeless” chants, with Alex Windsor going toe to toe with Athena, the current Ring of Honor’s Women’s Champ. After Toni Storm tags in, Athena decides to roll to her corner and tag in her minion, Billie Starkz.

Billie Starkz starts off with some quick offense, and a nice spinning back kick, but Toni Storm puts her into a headlock on the ground. A couple of dropkicks puts Toni Storm in control, before tagging in Alex Windsor. The tag team of Toni Storm and Alex Windsor is such a natural pairing, and shows as their in ring chemistry is instant. They deliver some interesting tag team moves against Billie Starkz, with Windsor hitting a nice DDT from the ropes to Starkz.

Athena plays some trickery here, baiting in Toni Storm to a clothesline from Billie Starkz. The tactics from Athena and Billie continue, as they distract referee Aubrey to get an advantage on Alex Windsor. A forearm from Windsor, sees both competitors on the mat, with Alex Windsor desperately needing a tag here. She does get an energy boost, after some clotheslines and a flying shoulder block to Athena.

This Chicago crowd is very energetic for this match, especially having just watched Hangman and Jon Moxley go at it. That attributes to the star power of the AEW locker room. Back to the current match tho, Alex Windsor is feeding off the energy from the crowd, hitting a Ligerbomb to Athena for a 2 count. Toni Storm joins the action, not before being slammed by Athena.

Alex Windsor almost gets a 3 count here, but not before Billie Starkz hits a senton bomb. Speaking of Starkz, she is now one on one int he ring with Toni Storm! Storm delivers a few strikes to Billie Starkz, before finishing with a Luthez Press!

TONI! TONI! TONI! TONI! TONI! TONI! TONI! This Chicago crowd is fully behind the AEW Women’s World Champion. Toni Storm had a lot of momentum going here, but a bling tag from Athena would lead to a huge “O-Face” stunner from the top rope.

Athena….just got a clean win over the AEW Women’s Champion. That’s a huge deal.

Post Match: Billie Starkz throws Alex Windsor in to the outside barricade, with Athena looming over Toni Storm, telling her that it’s her time to be AEW Women’s World Champion!

Segment: Renee Paquette is interviewing AEW World Heavyweight Champion Hangman Adam Page when..
MJF shows to make his presence known, and letting Hangman Adam Page know that he still has a guaranteed shot at the title. Hangman Adam Page let’s MJF know that there is a long list of men that deserve the title more than him, including Mark Briscoe. This causes MJF to walk off in frustration, but still guaranteeing that he will get his shot. Hangman Adam Page ends this segment, calling MJF a “coward”

Next Segment: Alicia Atout interviews Willow Nightingale about..

her challenge to Triangle of Darkness member, Thekla. Willow Nightingale vows that no matter what Thekla tries to throw at her, she will get through Thekla’s web and “kick her spider ass”.

Honestly, I’m really looking forward to this feud, because of the contrasting styles and personalities of Willow Nightingale and Thekla. I’m also wondering if the numbers of the Triangle of Darkness, are going to reunite Willow and her former friend/rival..We shall see!

Main Event Time!: Ricochet (walking to the ring without the Gates of Agony) goes one on one with the aforementioned Mark Briscoe! (Extended Notes/Review)

Mark Briscoe, who Hangman Adam Page views as a future opponent for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship, has to face Ricochet. For the moment, it seems as if this will be a true one on one event, with Ricochet constantly getting help from the Gates of Agony (Bishop Khan and Tonga Liona).

The match begins with Mark Briscoe delivering a few strikes to the head of Ricochet, with the two competitors exchanging moves. Mark Briscoe would then slap the every living snot out of Richochet, with one of the best chest chops that I’ve ever seen and heard!

Mark Briscoe is really taking it to Richochet, with some nice forearms and chops, sending Ricochet into the corner turnbuckle. Mark Briscoe continues to slap the ever living snot out of Ricochet. He sends Ricochet outside of the ring for a moment, but not before Ricochet would rebound for a suicide dive to the outside.

Ricochet would then bring a chair into the ring, which is illegal in this match, almost costing him a loss after distracting the referee. Ricochet delivers some clubbing blows to the back of Mark Briscoe, that only serve to fuel Briscoe. Mark Briscoe slaps Ricochet clean on the top of Richochet’s head, causing the referee to hilariously check on him.

The Gates of Agony have finally made their presence known, causing enough of a distraction to allow Ricochet to hit a shooting star press for a 2 count! Ricochet signals for his finisher but Mark Briscoe sends him outside of the ring.

As the match continues, Mark Briscoe would hit a huge lariat to Ricochet, with Tonga Liona would intervene. This would allow Ricochet to get a near 3 count off the distraction!

Coming to the aid of Mark Briscoe, are Brodido (Bandido and Brodie King)! A brawl ensues, with the Gates of Agony and Brodie King going up the ramp, effectively ending any chance of futher interference in this match.

Mark Briscoe would hit a lariat on Ricochet that made him do a backflip, and then hit his J Drilla finisher for the 1….. 2….. 3!

Final Segment: Mark Briscoe speaks..

about MJF mentioning his deceased brother. This feud with MJF is bringing out the best in Mark Briscoe. Mark would then deliver one of the most powerful lines in wrestling history. Mark Briscoe would state that his brother is chilling up in a mission in Heaven, but after feuding with MJF, he will be on his way to Hell.

Just as Mark is speaking, we hear the music of MJF. MJF would then use a little bit of trickery here, delivering a promo…but then showing up in the ring for a sneak attack on Mark Briscoe. A prerecorded promo to set up a sneak attack on a future opponent…smart. MJF lays out Mark Briscoe, and then directs his frustrations towards Hangman Adam Page.

I guess MJF didn’t go to Wrestling School 101, because when you mention someone’s name, usually they end up walking to the ring! That proceeded to happen, with Hangman Adam Page arriving to the ring to help out Mark Briscoe. Briscoe would send MJF running up the ramp.

Next week on AEW Dynamite, we will get MJF vs Mark Briscoe, which could prove very pivotable in the race towards the AEW World Heavy Weight Championship!

Thank you for tuning into this weeks episode of AEW Dynamite, and I hope that you also tune into AEW Collision, airing tomorrow at a special time!

AEW Collision 7/26/2025

First off, thank you Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuiness, for mentioning and paying tribute to the memory of Hulk Hogan. He was a great figure across the entire sports world, and despite some unfortunate flaws outside of the ring, I still view him as an inspiration. Rest easy in Heaven, Uncle Terry!

First Match: Dustin Rhodes of Lee Moriarty for the TNT Championship!
This is an interesting matchup to start AEW Collision, with the prodigy of Shane Taylor Promotions (Lee Moriarty), going against the new AEW TNT Champion (Dustin Rhodes).

This match is showcasing just how battle tested Dustin Rhodes is, because he is seemingly fighting through a knee injury, but Lee Moriarty seems to be suffering some pain as well. This would play a major factor in ths matchup, as Lee Moriarty would constantly attack the leg and knees of Dustin, with Dustin limping as result. That aside, Dustin doesn’t seem to mind the pain, as he has to defend his first ever singles title in AEW (Major accomplishment for him).

We get to a point in the match where Lee Moriarty locks Dustin Rhodes into a leg lock, with Dusin visibly showing how painful it is. Just as he is about to tap, he gets to the ropes. Lee Moriarty fought a valiant effort, especially against a seemingly hobbled Dustin Rhodes, but that fact still would be come null in void as Dustin Rhodes is able to secure the victory on a roll up pin.

Post Match: Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher approach the ring, to confront Dustin Rhodes once again.

It seems Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher, still can’t get over the fact that Kyle Fletcher didn’t win the TNT title. Kyle Fletcher demands a match against Dustin for the title, and at first Dustin Rhodes is hesitant to oblige, but he gives Kyle Fletcher what wants. Next week on Thursday’s episode of Collision, Kyle Fletcher will face TNT Champion Dustin Rhodes, in a Chicago Street Fight!

Next Match: The Gunn’s (Austin Gunn, and Juice Robinson replacing an injured Colten Gunn) vs the Learning Tree (Big Bill and “Bad Apple” Bryan Keith).

The match starts off hometown hero Juice Robinson, going one one vs Bryan Keith, proving to be a very nice match up. Austin Gunn tags, but Bryan Keith quickly tags his partner Big Bill. Austin Gunn uses a good strategy here to chop down the tree that is Big Bill, targeting the legs, but Big Bill uses his power to gain the advantage. Big Bill returns the favor, attacking the left leg/knee of Austin Gunn…is Big Bill going to send another member of the Gunn family to the injury reserve list?

It sees that the attack of the legs from Big Bill, are starting to wear on Austin Gunn as he cannot make it to his corner to tag in Juice Robinson. Big bill adds insult to injury……..as he clotheslines Juice Robinson before a tag, and then hobbles as a taunt to Austin Gunn. Gunn, finally able to get the tag, brings in Juice Robinson, who still remembers the backstage brawl that he had with Big Bill last week.

Juice Robinson has been such a great spark to the AEW locker room since his return, and this feud with the Learning Tree, should prove to be very good. Robinson is trying to keep things together for the Gunns, with the Learning Tree trying to take out Austin. He is also doing a lot to shoulder some of the loss of Colten for the moment, which he uses as motivation, scoring a huge pinfall win. This allows the Gunn’s to advance to the Semi Finals in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator tournament.

Backstage Segment: Lexi Nair is interviewing Shane Taylor, as Don Callis makes an appearance.

Next Match: Max Caster issues another challenge in Chicago!

Max Caster is in the ring for his weekly challenge to the AEW locker room. He even gets a solid ovation from this Chicago crowd , who even chants his slogan.
Before Max Caster can continue, his next opponent arrives…in the form of his former tag team partner Anthony Bowens. Bowens isn’t too happy with Max, who has been the bane of his existence for weeks.

It only takes all of 2 minutes and 47 seconds for Bowens to take out his former tag team partner, but Billy Gunn stops him from a post match assault on Max Caster. Bowens isn’t too happy with his mentor Billie Gunn, seemingly showing sympathy for the reason that their tag team broke up.

Next Match: A huge 8 man tag team match, with a $400K prize on the line.

Next Match: A huge 8 man tag team match, with $400K on the line!
In this matchup The Shayne Taylor Promotion (The Infantry) and The Don Callis Family (Lance Archer and Hechicero) team up against Hologram, Tomohiro Ishii and the Outrunners!

This match showcases a nice mix of styles: Brawlers, luchadors/acrobatic, and just power (mainly Ishii and Lance Archer). Speaking of Power, Lance Archer has a moment in this match, where he just absolutely dominates the members of the other team.

Back from commercial break, and the Outrunners are bringing the energy. The Outrunners vs the Infantry (which is a nice matchup in its own right), is taking place in the ring right now. Hologram enters the fray, with a suicide dive to Hechicero to the announce table.

Alot of chaos ensues, as the Shayne Taylor/Don Callis partnership is showing to be very beneficial, taking out Hologram. This wouldn’t last long, asThe paragon (Roderick Strong and Kyle O’reilly), arrive to ringiside and chase away Shane Taylor to the background. This would allow the Outrunners to take advantage, even with the referee taking long for the count.

Happy Birthday Roderick Strong, and Happy [Belated] Birthday to Kyle O’Reilley!

Backstage Segment: Lexi Nair interviews Shane Taylor

Lexi Nair asks Shane Taylor about his stablemate Lee Moriarty’s loss to Dustin Rhodes. He is interrupted by Don Callis, who has had some problems with Dustin Rhodes as of late. This is mainly due to his prodigy Kyle Fletcher, not able to capture the AEW TNT Championship at All in Texas. Focusing on the present tho, Don Callis forms a temporary alliance with Shane Taylor Promotions, to help ensure that the Outrunners aren’t able to make it to their tag team eliminator match next week. Shane Taylor is on the same page with Callis, and this should be very interesting how this plays out. As if Don Callis needed more help on his side the aide of Shane Taylor promotions should prove to be very beneficial.

Max Caster issues another Challenge in Chicago!
Max Caster, who has not had the best of luck in his “Best Wrestler Alive” challenge series, gets another chance to get a win. He starts off the challenge getting this Chicago crowd to chant his slogan. He then ends the cheers of the crowd as he disses them…nice, I guess.

Anyway, we await the mystery opponent of Max Caster, who turns out to be Anthony Bowens. This is his former tag team partner, who is still very furious with him, as the match begins with Bowens delivering some chops to Max Caster in the corner. The crowd is still chanting for Max Caster tho, which is infuriating Bowens even more. Bowens would then take Max Casters Challenge contract board, and snap it across his knee.

Personally I think that Anthony Bowens is doing too much as far as his attention on Max Caster. It’s causing him to lose sight of other aspirations, possibly championship. However, this fueled him to take care of his tag team partner in 2:47 even attacking him after the match.

His mentor, Billy Gunn, stops the attack, which further frustrates Anthony Bowens. Bowens thinks about attacking his mentor for his second, but decides to walk away, for now. Billy Gunn stays in the ring to watch over Max Caster.

Next Segment: Lexi Nair interviews the patriar….wait a minute

Lexi Nair begins the interview, asking Mother Wayne if they are still under name “The Patriarchy”. Mother Wayne indicates that the trio have moved on, with Nick Wayne starting to explain again why. Before he can finish his sentence tho, AR Foxx enters the conversation, issuing a 2 on 2 match with a partner of his choosing. Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian need to prepare for whoever Foxx chooses.

Next match: A huge 8 man tag team match, with $400K on the line, and some alliances formed as well….

This matchup features members of the Don Callis family (Lance Archer and Hechicero) and the Infantry (Captain Sean Dean and Charlie Bravo) teaming up together to form an unlikely alliance.

Their opponents are the Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum), teaming up with NJPW legend Tomohiro Ishii, and the undefeated Hologram (28-0 in the span of a year!)

The action begins with Tomohiro Ishii going against Charlie Bravo, wit Bravo delivering a confident set of chops to Ishii. I’ve seen many Ishii matches, and this will only make him strong, and it does as he delivers chops of his own! Hologram tags into the match delivering a set of moves to Charlie Bravo, alongside Ishii.

The first member of the Don Callis member to get into this match is Hechicero, who gives up some Luchador ation as he faces the undefeated Hologram. Hologram delivers a nice arm drag to Hechicero, and then a head scissors before tagging in the electric Outrunners. The Outrunners instant offense, even delivering a nice double dropkicks to the Infantry. Lance Archer isn’t deterred by the momentum of the Outrunners, going one on one with Truth Magnum.

Chaos ensues in the ring, with Lance Archer taking on all 4 of his opponents, and handling them very easily. Let’s remember that there is $400K on the line in this match, and Don Callis looks on very pleased as his team is in control of this match. Lance Archer seems to have met his match tho, with Tomohiro IShii delivering a nice brainbuster to him!

The Infantry is back in the action, with Captain Sean Dean delivering a nice flying forearm from the top rope! The Infantry now face the Outrunners, which could be an exciting matchup on it’s own.

Later in the match, Shane Taylor would make his presence known, attacking Hologram, before the Paragon (Kyle O’Reilley and Roderick Strong) make their way to the ring to chase away Taylor!. This would give an opening to the Outrunners, who deliver their team finisher to the Infantry to win this match and the grand prize!

Next Matchup: The debut of The Triangle of Madness (Julia Hart, Skye Blue and Thekla)
Tonight we get to see the debut of the Triangle of Madness, who have the potential to be the best trios Women’ in AEW History. Let’s focus on the present tho, as their first challenge comes in the form of Rachael Ellering, Layne Luck and Maserati (three great competitors in their own right).

The match starts with Julia Hart locking up with Layne Luck, performing an Old School move on her off the top rope. Chicago’s own Sky Blue then tags in, before striking luck and quickly tagging in Thekla.

A double knees to Julia Hart, would allow Layne Luck to tag in Rachael Ellering to tag in, providing instant offense and strength! A couple of clotheslines, a senton , and a brainbuster get 2 count.

Rachel Ellering tags in Maserati, and Skye Blue gets the tag for her team, before the Triangle of Madness perform their team finisher. Before the move, however, it seems that Skye Blue also got a quick tag to Thekla, who gets the pinfall on Maserati. This secure the first victory for the Triangle of madness.

Post Match: Queen Aminata approaches the ring, to confront her rival Thekla, and the other members of the Triangle of Madness. Aminata is then attacked from behind by Megan Bayne, who seems to form a temporary alliance with the new trios tag team in the Women’s Division.

Backstage segment: Lexy Nair is backstage with Stokley, who once again takes time to address his Adam Copeland problem.

This time, instead of FTR to have his back, his is flanked with member of the AEW security team. Stokely promises that once FTR is healthy, Adam Copeland will no longer be a thorn in his side.

Backstage Segment: Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong try to reunite The Conglomeration.

We get a bit of a fun segment here, where the Paragon (Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilley) interrupt an interview with Hologram and Tomohiro Ishii. The later two, just won that 8 man tag team match, securing $200K for their team. The Paragon members want to use the earnings to celebrate their birthdays…in some interesting ways.

Happy Birthdays to Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilley, and all of the birthdays in AEW thusfar!

Next Match: Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian vs AR Foxx and….
AR Foxx mentioned that he had to pick a tag team partner for this match against the former Patriarchy members. He chooses a member of the Ring of Honor locker room, Angelico, which might prove to be an interesting pairing. I hope that they are on the same page!

This match starts with Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne pinning AR Foxx against the corner turnbuckle, before NIck Wayne enters the ring. AR Foxx delivers a nice spinning suplex to him, before Angelico enters the ring for a barrage of punches to Wayne.

Angelico’s style contrasts to Nick Wayne, who uses his speed to overwhelm his opponents. Angelico puts Nick Wayne in an interesting submission, later getting the tag back to AR Foxx.

AR Foxx delivers a few cutters to the not Patriarchy. Mother Wayne is livid, as AR Foxx delivers a senton bomb to Nick Wayne for the 2 count! Nick Wayne recovers, with Kip Sabian leaping off the top rope for a picture perfect Missile Dropkick to Angelico!

Kip Sabian wanted to go for the pin, but Nick Wayne insists that he gets the tag…interesting. Nick Wayne adds insult to the betrayal of his former mentor Christian cage, as he uses his finisher to get the 3 count on Angelico!

Backstage Segment: Renee Paquette interviews Kris Statlander

Renee Paquette starts to ask Kris Statlander a question when she is interrupted. Kris Statlander is still bitter at her former best friend/rival, for her loss in the four way match at All in Texas. Statlander uses her frustration, to say that her former friend can no longer get in her way. Does this spell another singles championship run for Statlander? We shall see!

Main Event: Athena vs Alex Windsor, for the Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion!

(Extended Match Details)
The “Forever Champ” Athena, approaches this ring with her minion, Billie Starkz. Athena is looking build on her path to the AEW Women’s Championship, not having yet cashed in her Casino Gauntlet contract.

Focusing on the current match, Athena puts up her Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship, against Alex Windsor, a recent signing to AEW. The two competitors exchange a couple quick moves, with Athena getting the advantage with a right forearm shot to the face of Alex Windsor!

Alex Windsor, with a nice pair of arm drag takedowns, gets a nice running knee on the champion! Windsor, in full control of this match at this point, goes for a 2 count.

Back from commercial break, the two competitors rise to their feet with Windsor still in control. A couple of clothelines, one to the corner and one running from the ropes, has Athen in trouble. Windsor gets another 2 count, looking to the crowd for energy.

Just when Alex Windsor was looking to put this match away, the ROH Women’s Champion Athena bites the leg of Alex Windsor. This allows Athena to get a superkick, and suplex/submission combo. Alex Windsor will not give up tho, switching the submission into a pin count for 2.

Alex Windsor hits a headbutt to Athena, who is on the top rope, for a bulldog of sorts (correction: Blue Thunder bomb). Another 2 count for Windsor, who is still not able to put the champion away!

Alex Windsor slams Athena one the apron a few times, before the minion Billie Starkz gets involved. Starkz take a bullet here, getting sent into the steel steps, but it provides a valuable distraction for her mentor Athena.

Athena hits a nice running drop kick to send Alex Windsor into the barricade outside, drawing Holy Sh*t chants from the crowd! Athena would then continue her momentum, picking up windsor on the barricade, but Windsor delivers a straight right punch to send her down!. Athena would then hit a huge powerbomb.

Athena sets up for her “O-Face” finisher, a stunner leaping from the top rope. This would secure the victory for her, but things don’t end there. Athena and Billie Starkz would try to team up on Alex Windsor, before AEW Women’s Women’s Champion Toni Storm would interfere.

Once again, Billie Starkz seems to be learning very well from her mentor, using that aggression to strike Toni Storm across the back with the contract.

AEW Collision ends with Athena and Billie Starks battling with Toni Storm and Alex Windsor in the middle of the ring, with the later two getting the advantage!

I can imagine that this match will take place on Dynamite or Collision (Thursday this week).

Thank you for watching AEW Collision this week! Make sure to tune into AEW Dynamite this Wednesday, but also tune into AEW Collision this Thursday (Special time this week!) See you then!

AEW Dynamite 7/23/2025

First Match: The new AEW World Heavyweight Champion “Hangman” Adam Page vs DeathRider, Wheeler Yuta.
Considering the history between Hangman Adam Page and the Deathriders, this should prove to be very interesting. It’s also interesting that the Deathriders chose Wheeler Yuta for this match, but it makes sense.

As Hangman Adam Page approaches the ring and gets on the apron, he is immediately attacked by Wheeler Yuta. Hangman Adam Page didn’t try to take off his jacket, before performing multiple stomps on Wheeler Yuta in the corner. Hangman Adam Page takes this action to the outside of the ring, slamming Wheeler Yuta into the barricade outside.

The action goes back into the ring, with Hangman chopping the chest of Yuta, before delivering a Death Valley Driver for a 2 count. Yuta is a better competitor than many people give him credit for, as he uses the ropes to prevent Hangman from performing one of his finishers.

Hangman Adam Page would then go to the apron, signaling the potential end of this match. With one Buckshot Lariat, “Hangman” Adam Page pins Wheeler Yuta for the 3 count. He isn’t finished tho, as he takes his signature chain and uses it to choke out another member of the Deathri…wait a minute. Hangman decides not to do this, and let’s Wheeler Yuta survive for tonight. It’s not like Hangman to have mercy on his opponents, but I guess a bloodied Wheeler Yuta is enough for him. Don’t take this mercy for granted, Wheeler Yuta.

Backstage Segment: Athena and Billie Starkz speak before the minion goes for Gold tonight!

Athena and Billie Starkz deliver a strong promo before Billie Starkz has an opportunity of a lifetime. Should Billie Starks win her match against Toni Storm, she will get a guarenteed shot at the AEW Championship. That is interesting, because Toni Storm also has a guaranteed shot at the title.

Tag Team Match between FTR and JetSpeed, that will prove to be very important in the Tag Team tournament that AEW is running right now!
This match starts off with FTR jumping on JetSpeed in their corner, continuing the pre match assault on Mike Bailey. Jetspeed would rebound from this, as Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight perform dual leaps, Bailey to the outside, Kevin Knight to the inside of the ring for a 2 count on Dax Harwood.

Dax Harwood has Kevin Knight on laying on the corner turnbuckle, trying to take out his legs. Harwood puts Knight in a Figure Four, before Mike Bailey intervenes. It seems that Cash Wheeler has the same strategy, trying to take out the legs of Mike Bailey.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler continue the twin telepathy, as they go for double sharpshooters. The two set up for a finish, before Mike Bailey hits a shooting star press on Dax Harwood for the two count.

The action continues, as Mike Bailey battles FTR on the apron. Mike Bailey had the advantage on the outside, doing a great dive to the Cash Wheeler in the time keepers table. Back in the ring, FTR uses their “championship ways”, to get the pinfall, with the aide of an “injured” Stokley.

Post Match: Stokley claimed last week, that Adam Copeland couldn’t go near FTR, who were in the ring with Stokley.

Adam Copeland would end up throwing one of this biggest curve balls in AEW history, as he announces that he has partnered with the Hurt Syndicate.

Segment: Jon Moxley talks about his All in Texas match with Hangman Adam Page, saying that he isn’t going to be a b*tch about his loss…even though the Deathriders keep attacking random people.

Next Segment: Will Ospreay makes his return after All in Texas.

Will O’Spreay makes his return, to talk about a neck injury that he has been suffering with for about 10 months. The mood and tone of his voice right now, suggest that he may be taking some time off. It seems that the match with the Deathriders may have taken a bit of a toll on his body, but the good news is, his injury is very treatable! We await your return Will O’Spreay.

Backstage Segment: Renee Paquette is having a backstage interview with Willow.

Willow speaks about the newest additions to the AEW Women’s roster. She mentions one name in particular, and it’s a heck of pick to face next. Willow Nightingale vs Thekla will be a great rivalry, in my opinion.

Backstage segment: Renee Paquette interviews the Hurt Syndicate. MJF is a little irate that the Hurt Syndicate partnered with Adam Copeland, and didn’t consult him about it. MVP tells MJF that there were previous business arrangements that were already made.

Next Match: The Biggest Match of Billie Starkz career!

Billie Starks goes one on one with her mentor, Athena’s, future World Heavyweight opponent. Toni Storm and Billie start the match with a lockup. Toni Storm hits a Sunset Flip for a 2 count. Toni then hits a backbreaker on Billie, before a very impressive monkey flip.

Billie Starkz looks to build some momentum, with a very impressive chop with Toni on the turnbuckle. She hits a nice senton flip to the back of Toni Storm on the outside of the ring.

We are back from commercial back, with Toni Storm performing some double handed chops to Billie Starks, followed up with a Luthez Press. Athena looks on in concern, as Toni Storm hits a very impressive powerbomb on Billie Starkz.

Billie Starkz would perform a very nice twisting neckbreaker on Toni Storm, followed with a pin count for two. Toni Storm returns a with a northern lights suplex, but Billie gets the advantage back. Billie Starkz almost gets a 3 counts, grabbing the tights of Toni for leverage.

Billie Starkz looks to put this match away, an earn a shot for the title but Toni Storm gets her knees up to counter. Toni Storm would then hit her finisher, and put this match away for the 3 count.

Post Match: Billie Starkz attacks Toni Storm.

I was very impressed with Billie’s match, but not so impressed with her tactics after the match. She has learned well from the forever champ, attacking Toni Storm, and even attacking ref Aubrey Edwards. She motions for her mentor to come to the ring, with Athena using her contract clipboard to strike Toni Storm several times.

Next match: Swerv Strickland vs Hechicero, for the first time ever. This match also features a bit of foreshadowing, as Swerv Strickland seems to now be in the sights of the Don Callis Family.

I thought that this match should have started the show, but it has a nice spot here.

Swerv Strickland makes his way to the ring, with Prince Nana, before Don Callis makes an appearance. Don Callis introduces Hechicero with worse Spanish than me.

Swerv Strickland and Hechicero lock up in the middle of the ring, with Hechicero getting the advantage, with a headlock on the ground.

The two competitors exchange a sequence of counters and reversals, with this match proving to be a stalemate thus far. Hechicero hits Swerv Strikland with a “Scientist bomb”, a swinging backbreaker.

We return from break, with Swerv Strickland on the end of a tilt a world slam from Hechicero, but Hechicero only gets a one count. Swerv is enraged, as he delivers a big boot to Hechicero, before a diving elbow to the back of Hechicheros neck.

Swerv Strickland varies his offense, with a nice roundhouse kick and 450 splash for a 2 count. Hechicero looks to sway the match in his favor, with a couple of submissions and pin counts on Swerv, but Swerv looks to hit him back with his Swerv stomp off the top rope! This was before the Don Callis family stepped in and cost Swerv the match.

Next Segment: MJF responds to the Hurt Syndicate and Hangman Adam Page.

MJF states that he doesn’t need BOB to win the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

Main Event: Mark Briscoe vs Claudio Castignoli

After being berated by MJF, and told that noone will love him as much as his deceased brother, Mark Briscoe takes his rage out on Claudio.

Briscoe and Castignoli are trading chops and uppercuts to start off this matchup. Mark Briscoe gets the advantage after trading chops with Claudio on the apron. Mark Briscoe delviers some nice strikes to the back of Castignoli in the corner, also chopping him before Castignoli turns the tides.

Mark Briscoe and Claudio Castignoli are trading chops with each other, with Briscoe on the apron. Once again, Mark Briscoe is in the ring with strikes to the body of Claudio Castignoli. Claudio would turn the tides, as swings Mark Briscoe into the barricade outside of the ring. looking victorious.

We return from commercial break, with both competitors on the top rope, before Claudio Castignoli delivers a huge uppercut on Briscoe as he jumps off the top rope. Claudio Castignoli is in control of this match, as his attention is diverted to Darby Allin, who is the crowd looking on!

Claudio Castignoli looks to get the sneaky win, raking the eyes of Mark Briscoe, and then hitting a huge uppercut for a 2 count. Cluadio would then look to use his “Neutralizer finisher”, but Mark Briscoe counters it with one of the most devasting moves in wrestling history…the surprise roll up pin.

Post Match: Mark Briscoe is attacked by Marina Shafir, before the Deathriders enter the ring. Mark Briscoe is dropped on a steel chair, before Jon Moxley starts talking about how “Hangman” Adam Page isn’t really the champion.

A confrontation between Jon Moxley and Hangman Adam Page

Hangman Adam Page is making his way down to the ring, with the Deathriders surrounding it, not backing down to them. He makes a mic drop announcement, telling Jon Moxley that we will have a championship rematch next week, with everyone barred from ringside!

The fact that we are getting Jon Moxley vs “Hangman” Adam Page on an episode of AEW Dynamite, with the Deathriders barred from ringside…oh this is going to be awesome.

Thank you to everyone for watching tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite and I look forward to yall seeing a great episode next week!

Main Event: Mark Briscoe vs Claudio Castignoli

AEW Collision Review for July 19, 2025 – Live from Chicago, IL

This episode of AEW Collision, starts off with Dustin Rhodes addressing the Post All in Texas crowd in Chicago, IL!
Dustin has a had a very long, and some difficult road in the wrestling business and in life. It’s awesome to finally see him at the point that he’s at in his career, where he is winning championships and keeping this great run going.

Dustin thanks his mother and father, for inspiring him to keep stepping. This brings a lot of cheers from the crowd, but that excitement in the arena is instantly drained, as Don Callis makes an appearance. As everyone’s favorite manager makes his way to the ring, with future champion and prodigy Kyle Fletcher in tow, Don Callis announces that Kyle Fletcher has something very important to say.

Kyle Fletcher believes that he was supposed to be the one celebrating a TNT Championship win at AEW All in Texas! Kyle Fletcher states that Dustin Rhodes has signed his own death certificate, as winning the AEW TNT Championship just put a target on the back of Dustin Rhodes.

Dustin Rhodes states that all Kyle Fletcher does week to weak is complain, after detailing all of the opponents that he had to go through just to capture his first singles title in AEW! Don Callis commends Dustin Rhodes on his career/journey, calling him a great man and a legend, but asks Dustins who is going to uplift Dusin, when Kyle Fletcher wins the TNT Championship.

Don Callis proceeds to do something that noone wants; he extends an invitation to the Don Callis family, before calling Himself, Cody Rhodes and the American Dream a dysfunctional 3. This triggers Dustin Rhodes to grab Don Callis, before the prodigy steps in and Dustin Rhodes has to show him why he deserved that TNT Championship.

Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher are forced outside of the ring, with Dustin Rhodes onlooking at the two walking away this fight!

The first matchup: Ricochet vs AR Foxx!
We are shown a quick clip, from the events of AEW Collision from 3 weeks ago, when AR Foxx tried to confront Ricochet, before getting jumped by the Gates of Agony.

AR Foxx arrives to the ring to a nice ovation from this Chicago crowd, sending Ricochet out of the ring in disgust.

This is really great matchup/rivalry in my opinion. Ricochet is still playing alot of mind games here, running out of the ring and trying to force AR Foxx to follow him. The two competitors finally enter the ring and exchange a few moves, before Ricochet tries running away again. AR Foxx catches him, with a nice Tope Suicido over the top rope!

Oh just great, the Gates of Agony are walking down the ramp, to play some more mind games with Ricochet. With the two circling the ring, AR Foxx hits a spinning suplex for a two count, but then immediately gets distracted. He refocuses with a nice flying forearm to the Ricochet on the corner turnbuckle, before Ricochet moves to distract the referee, and Tonga Loa slams AR Foxx on the apron. Ouch!

Again, very solid matchup between the two, and AR Foxx is doing well to focus his attention to Ricochet, while also overcoming the numbers game that is the Gates of Agony! Ricochet jumps into the ring, before AR Foxx hits a front flip over the top rope and then another flying maneuver over the top rope.

With the way this match is going, AR Foxx looks completely unstoppable. A Senton Bomb from AR Foxx goes for a 2 count. Ricochet needs to find some way to mount some offense, or at least get outside of the ring, where his bodyguards are lying in wait. Ricochet gets a roll up pin for a 2 count, as AR Foxx goes for the same move for a 2 count as well.

Ricochet would finally get some momentum in this matchup, as he picks up AR Foxx for a Death Valley Driver, and a 2 count! ricochet tries to run forward for a lariat but AR Foxx dodges it, hitting Ricochet with a big boot and then a kick to the back in the corner turnbuckle. AR Foxx hits a HUGE Code Red, but only gets the 2 count! Ricochet may be a runner, but he is definitely resilient.

AR Foxx jumps off the top rope for a 450 splash attempt, but Richochet moves out the way, and Ricochet hits him with his Spirit Gun lariat to the back of the head/neck of AR Foxx.

1 ……..2 ……… 3! Ricochet has his hands raised in the middle of the ring, feeling very victorious, even though it took the effort of the Gates of Agony to secure the victory on this opening match of AEW Collision!

Wrestling Legend Colt Cabana is sitting at commetary with Tony Schiavone and Nige McGuinness before….
Wait a minute…Marina Shafir puts a chain around the next of Colt Cabana and starts choking him out before Jon Moxley joins the action. Wheeler Yuta, who has become a stronger member of the group over the course of this year, is in on the attack too.

With Claudio Castignoli here as well, all four members of the Death Riders have Colt Cabana in the middle of the ring…Jon Moxley then proceeds to choke out Colt Cabana with the chain along the ropes, reminiscent of his All in Texas defeat to Hangman Adam Page.

The AEW staff and medical crew are finally able to reach Colt Cabana, and immediately try to help him.

Lexi Nair with a backstage interview with Kris Statlander
Lexi Nair starts off this interview apologizing to the fans on having to watch that senseless and disgusting beating of Colt Cabana by the Death Riders.

Lexi brings up Statlanders rivalry with Willow Nightingale and how their friendship gets in the way of the matches. Kris Statlander assures her that it’s fight before friendship in the ring, before another friend in Wheeler Yuta stops by to tell her that really championships bounce back. Wheeler Yuta is hilariously snatched by the ear, as Deathriders partner Marina Shafir tells him to move along.

Tay Melo vs Megan Bayne (Tag team partners barred from ringside)
Tay Melo has been very successful in her return recently, and has been very impressive, especially in the All In Texas Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match!

Tay Melo is not the least bit intimidated by the power of the Megasus Megan Bayne. Tay Melo ducks under a clothesline attempt from Megan Bayne, before Bayne is able to hit one anyway. Tay Melo has Megan Bayne in a triangle submission on the mat, but Megan Bayne uses her power to pick up and slam Tay Melo. Tay Melo up on the apron, kicks Megan Bayne in the chest, before jumping off the apron into a fallaway slam!

Back in the ring, Tay Melo tries to take the Megasus down, with running forearm shots and shoulder thrusts. Tay Melo would also hit 3 consecutive running boots to the corner, but this would not put Megan Bayne down! Bayne tries to pick up Tay Melo, who pushes her into the corner turnbuckle for a German Suplex! Tay Melo continues to look impressive, as she puts a standing Guillotine on Megan Bayne, who once again uses her power to pick up Tay and slam her on the canvas.

A 2 count causes some visible frustration from the Megasus, before a running knee from Tay Melo puts down Bayne for a second. A nice Canadian destroyer from Tay Melo leads to a 2 count! Tay Melo goes for her finisher, the TayKO, but Megan Bayne counters it for a flying clothesline. Bayne picks up Tay Melo for running Liger Bomb, and finally gets the 3 count.

Mr. Schiavone mentions that Megan Bayne is 8-0 on Collision, still undefeated and looking ever so dominant!

Backstage segment: Don Callis attempts to continue his sneaky recruiting ways.

Don Callis appears backstage, trying to coax a returning Scorpio Sky into joining the Don Callis Family. General Manager Christopher Daniels, denies Don Callis the request. Instead, Daniels peps up Top Flight and Scorpio Sky for an inevitable matchup against the Don Callis family!

Next Matchup: Taya Valkyrie vs Alex Windsor, with a surprise appearance at the end.
One of the best talents in AEW/Ring of Honor, Taya Valkyrie is going one on one, with one of the newest signings to the AEW Women’s division, Alex Windsor.

Taya Valkyrie and Alex Windsor start this matchup in a tie up, with Valkyrie gaining the advantage. With Windsor down in the corner turnbuckle, Valkyrie hits her with double knees, before ref Aubrey issues a one count!

Alex Windsor looks to gain momentum with an arm drag and a drop kick for a one count as well. Windsor hits Taya Valkyrie in the corner with a devastating chop to the chest. Windsor goes for a pin, but only gets a 2 count, so she switches up her strategy with a possible Sharpshooter attempt.

Alex Windsor hits Valkyrie with a nice lariat for a 2 count. Windsor is able to lock in the Sharpshooter this time, with Taya Valkyrie quickly tapping out to the submission move.

Wait a minute…Alex Windsor can’t even celebrate her victory, when Athena appears in the Balcony, to tell Windsor to get her a** to the back! Athena talks about how she doesn’t need to cater to the crowd like Toni Storm does, and mocks her mannerisms.

Guess who is about to make her way to the ring. Toni Storm is on Collision! Toni Storm implores Athena to sign her Casino Gauntlet winning Contact for a AEW Women’s Championship match. Athena states that Toni Storm is going to have to beg her to sign the match contract.

Athena is still hesitant to sign the contract, deflecting attention to the upcoming match that Toni Storm has with her minion, Billie Starkz. Toni Storm is tired of waiting, dropping the mic and running up to the balcony, but Athena gets away this time!

Next Segment: Backstage Interview between Lexi Nair and Anthony Bowens gets interrupted.
Anthony Bowens states that Billie Gunn, his mentor, and himself are not on the same page. Billie Gunn suggest that Bowens is obsessed with getting revenge on Max Caster. Billie Gunn states that he has a match lined for Anthony Bowens next week, and implores him to trust him. Bowens agrees but looks reluctant to trust his mentor.

Considering the fact that Max Caster is still on a losing streak in his challenge series, I think that Anthony Bowens could best use his time to focus on another opponent.
Next Up: A Four Way Tag Team Match for $200K

Big Bill and Bryan Keith vs the Gates of Agony (Tonga Loa and Bishop Kahn) vs the Cru (Action Andretti and Lio Rush) vs The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn).

This major tag team matchup for a Grand Prize, starts with Lio Rush and Austin Gunn facing off, before Rush’s Cru partner Action Andretti joins the Fray! Austin gets to his corner to tag in Colten Gun, and the Gates of Agony get successive tags as well. Multiple quick tags between the Gates of Agony, sees them getting the advantage over the Gunnys.

Austin Gunn, in the ring with “Bad Apple” Bryan Keith, hits a double team move on him with his brother Colten Gunn. Gunns Up! with the Gunns having the advantage, before Learning Tree member Big Bill joins the match, much to the cheers of the crowd. Colten Gunn underestimates the power and size of Big Bill, or simply ignores it, and tries to take him down. This leads to all of the tag team members in this match to enter a brawl in the ring, before taking the action outside of the ring.

Big Bill hits a huge twisting Sidewalk slam on Lio Rush, before Colten Gunn tries again to take him down but that doesn’t really work out too well for him. Big Bill is proving dominant, taking out multiple opponents on the outside, before he is hit with a running shoulder tackle from Tonga Loa. This sends Big Bill flying over the announce table.

Wait a minute… I guess you have my back and I have yours too. Ricochet enters the match to help out his Gates of Agony members, who helped him earlier in the evening. Bishop Kahn and Tonga Loa would capitalize on this and win the match, along with the huge bonus of $200K!

Vignette: The Patriarchy turns on Christian Cage at AEW All in Texas, with Adam Copeland states that he tried to warn his long time friend and rival.

Next Match: Max Caster and whoever he is about to lost to this week.
Welp, it turns out that Max Caster’s bad luck hasn’t run out anytime soon, as he has five minutes to survive the piercing kicks of Kyle O’Reilly.

Max Caster implores a new strategy, as he runs around the ring trying to avoid his opponents. Kyle O’Reilly’s Paragon member Roderick Strong, trips Max Caster, causing O’Reilly to catch up with him and send him back in the ring.

Kyle O’Reilly glances over the contract of Caster, and the referee has to take it from him. With the ref distracted for a second, Max Caster tries to capitalize, but ends up in an armbar from Kyle O’Reilly, tapping immediately. 2 minutes and 52 seconds…not bad Max, but not enough.

Unfortunately AEW fans, Max Caster is still winless in his challenge series. Let’s see if his luck turns around next week!

Next Segment: A returning Juice Robinson has words for Ricochet and the Gates of Agony, as he is interrupted by Big Bill, and the two brawl backstage. Referee and AEW personnel have to break up the two.

This should prove to be an interesting rivalry, involving the Learning Tree and the Gunns (but even as a singles rivalry).

Next Segment: A returning Juice Robinson…

has words for Ricochet and the Gates of Agony, as he is interrupted by Big Bill, and the two brawl backstage. Referee and AEW personnel have to break up the two. This should prove to be an interesting rivalry, involving the Learning Tree and the Gunns (but even as a singles rivalry).

Next Match: Rush (Alongside LFI members “Frank” Beast Mortos, and Dralistico) against “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata.

This next matchup should prove to be a good one, as Mexico vs Japan matchups never fail to amaze me. To start the match, the two exchange strikes, before switching to chops to the chest of each opponent. Rush hits a couple of running chops to Shibata, before one final chop sends Shibata outside of the ring.

Rush, still with the advantage in this matchup, sends Shibata into the barricade and steel steps outside of the ring. He then runs with Shibata, before throwing him into the barricade outside. Rush taunts to the crowd, knowing that he has control of the matchup, but that allows Shibata to run towards him with a big boot. Shibata returns the favor from earlier, running Rush into the barricades along the four sides of the ring!

Rush’s motto is “Mess with the Bull, get the horns”. I don’t think that applies here now, with Shibata in full control of the match…I take that back, as Rush is in control after the commercial break. Shibata takes the advantage again, with a nice missile dropkick to rush in the corner. Shibata would hit a suplex for a two count. The Chicago crowd is still bringing the energy, and Rush picks up Shibata for the 3 amigos….but Shibata reverses into his own suplex…before Rush gets the third amigo.

The two competitors suplex each other back and forth, before Shibata goes for pin, only getting a one count. The two continue with German Suplexes, before Shibata chops Rush and puts him in a sleeper move. As Shibata continues to apply the sleeper, Rush’s tag team partners Dralistico and Beast Mortos approach the ring. This distraction would prove very useful, as Rush is able to deliver his finishing dropkick to the corner, and getting the 3 count on Shibata!

Rush holds Shibata’s trios championship, after LFI stomps out Shibata. This prompts Powerhouse Hobbs to run to the ring to save his tag team championship partner. Once Samoa Joe returns, this will be a great trios match for the championships!

Main Event Time: The Don Callis Family (Lance Archer, Hechicero, Rocky Romero and Josh Alexander) vs Mascara Dorada, Bandido and JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and Speedball Mike Bailey).
This match starts off with some Luchador action, as Bandio squares off with Don Callis member, Hechicero. Hechicero throws Bandido outside of the ring, before picking up Mascara Dorada, who reverses into a hurricanrana. Lance Archer enters the match now, and throws Mascara Dorada way across the ring.

Josh Alexander tags in, and his tag team partner Rocky Romero gets a spinning wheel kick from Mascara Dorada. The Don Callis family looks to be in trouble, as Jetspeed, Bandido and Dorada leap over the ring and take out all of their opponents!

Back in the ring, Josh Alexander and Mike Bailey square off, with Alexander getting a backbreaker and a flatliner combo (reverse suplex). Mike Bailey would recover from this, and deliver a top rope drop-kick to Josh Alexander! Bailey tags in Bandido (ROH World Champion), who throws Josh Alexander to the rope and picks him up over his shoulders with ease.

Josh Alexander tags in Hechicero, who takes off the atheletic tap on Bandido, before delivering a nice running knee to Bandido in the corner. Hechicero would then pick up Bandido for a powerbomb, which Bandido reverses into a Mexican Destroyer! Lance Archer and Mascara Dorada tag in for their respective teams, with Dorada planting a hurricanrana on Archer. Dorada able to get a 2 count on the much bigger Lance Archer, has the pin count interrupted by the whole Don Callis family.

The Don Callis family has the advantage now, but JetSpeed neutralizes the advantage. The two team up with Bandido to take down Lance Archer, who does a chokeslam on Mike Bailey, to his tag team partner Bandido. JetSpeed recovers, with Kevin Knight hitting a moonsault to Lance Archer on the outside!

Rocky Romero looks to finish the match vs Mascara Dorada, but only gets a two count. The Don Callis family looked to triple team Dorada, who is backed up by JetSpeed and Bandido, leaping to the outside.

Mascara Dorada is up on the top rope for a shooting star press and the 3 count for the win in your AEW Collision matchup!

Hechicero is the only Don Callis member approaching the ring, to show his displeasure with the loss. Looks like he has a meeting with ROH World Champion, Bandido!

Thanks for tuning into this episode of AEW Collision! Make sure to tune into AEW Dynamite this week, still in Chicago, IL, for more fallout from All In Texas, and build up for Forbidden Door in London!

AEW Dynamite July 16, 2025 – Live from Chicago, IL

Once again, congratulations to All Elite Wrestling on their very successful All In Texas event.

First Segment: Hangman Adam Page starts the show off, thanking the fans for helping to inspire him, to finally capture the AEW World Heavyweight Championship again!
Hangman Adam Page is showing a ot of humility in his first appearance since All in Texas!

He thanks for the fans for watching the AEW lockerroom achieve their dreams; that everything we do is to give the fans of AEW the best product available.

“Hangman” Adam Page also states that he has fighting a 9 month long battle just to get to the top of the mountain again, and reclaim the AEW World Heavyweight Championship!

He thanks Darby Allin, Jay White, Adam Copeland, the Opps, Bryan Danielson, Will Ospreay, Swerv Strickland and other AEW superstars that have paved the road for his resurgence.

I have to say…AEW is in a good place with “Hangman” Adam Page at the helm.

First Match: Kyle Fletcher starts off our first episode of AEW Dynamite after All in Texas, with a match vs one of the best Luchador’s that AEW has to offer, Mascara Dorada!
Here we go! The bell rings, and Kyle Fletcher immediately chargers forward and takes down Mascara Dorada, before delivering strikes to him on the ground. The Don Callis family is on the outside of the ring, looking very pleased with Fletcher’s opening match tactics. Kyle Fletcher then has to compete with the fast moving Luchador moves of Mascara Dorada. Dorada jumps off the top rope onto Fletcher, who then receives a drop kick from Fletcher to the outside of the ring.

Mascara Dorada jumps off the top rope, and ends up in the arms of Kyle Fletcher for a power slam. Fletcher attempts a powerbombs to Dorada, who turns it into a sunset flip pin combo for a 2 count. Mascara Dorada has control of this match, even superkicking Fletcher on the apron before delivering a shooting star press to the outside!

Mascara Dorada delivers some nice kicks to Fletcher before a powerbomb and 2 count pin attempt. With Kyle Fletcher up on the top rope, Dorada delivers a hurricanrana to him, then hits him with a 450 Splash as well. Kyle Fletcher isn’t finished yet, as the two competitors stand up, and trade chops before Dorada delivers a superkick to Fletcher. This sequence ends with Kyle Fletcher catching Dorada jumping off the rope, throwing him into the corner turnbuckle and then picking up for his brain buster finisher, before getting the pin count for the 1 …….. 2 ……. 3!

Next up, with have a backstage segment, with the EVP’s seemingly being blackballed by AEW, with the name on their door even being crossed out.
Even Ricochet, and the Gates of agony are backstage making fun of the EVP’s for their situation. I guess the misfortune of the EVP’s has drawn them towards the attention of Don Callis, who already has alot of members under his “family”. This can’t be good for the AEW locker room, with the Don Callis family seemingly growing in numbers once again.

Next we have a segment with the members of the Hurt Syndicate cutting a promo on Hangman Adam Page, calling himself the physical embodiment of his depression.

He also states that nice guys finish last, with MVP stating that the Hurt Syndicate are not nice guys. “Hangman” Adam Page has just won the championship, but it looks like he already has to look out for MJF cashing in his guaranteed contract for the title.

Next match up: Brody King, Bandido and JetSpeed vs The Don Callis Family’s, Josh Alexander and Hechicero, and new allies, the Young Bucks.
Next match up: Brody King, Bandido and JetSpeed vs The Don Callis Family’s, Josh Alexander and Hechicero, and new allies, the Young Bucks.

Next Match: Brodie King, Bandido and JetSpeed vs The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander and Hechicero) and the Young Bucks.

The match starts off with Brody King and Josh Alexander tieing up. Josh Alexander attempts a running shoulder thrust and a chop to Brody King, but that doesn’t seem to phase him. Josh Alexander tags Hechicero and Brody tags in Bandido, so here’s our first look at some Luchador action today!

Bandido hits a running/jumping arm drag on Hechicero and later hits a nice hurricanrana, jumping off the top rope. Jetspeed gets into the action, sending Hechicero outside of the ring, and going at it with the Young Bucks! Speaking of the Young Bucks, they hit a nice stomp from the top rope to powerbomb combination, before Nick Jackson leaps outside of the ring.

Back from commercial break, Hechicero and Kevin Knight are squaring off in the ring. Kevin Knight is blocking the strikes of Hechicero, before delivering a power slam to him. Mike Bailey then tags in and joins the fray, going toe to toe with the Young Bucks, putting them down with some kicks.

Bailey would leap to the top rope, before delivering a corkscrew…moonsault to the outside, taking out Matthew Jackson. Bailey motions to the crowd that he is in control of this match, but the Young Bucks quickly put the numbers to work…That doesn’t last long though, as Mike Bailey puts but of them down for the backwards flip with double knees!

The match continues, with Brodie King and Bandido looking like a very cohesive unit, with Brodie launching Bandido to the outside taking out their opponents! Bandido would also do a flipping slam on Hechicero off the top rope. His tag team partner Brodie King, trying to help out, has the numbers of the Bucks and Don Callis family overrun him. Bandido would throw Nick Jackson up in the air for a cutter, but Josh Alexander and the Don Callis Family would end this match with a very impressive set of tag team maneuvers!

Adam Copeland makes his way to the ring, to discuss his All in Texas encounter with FTR, the Patriarchy, and his long time friend and rival, Christian Cage.

The fans give Adam Copeland a great ovation, as he goes to the ring and talks about how grateful he is for the fans. He also adresses the fans on whether or not he ran down to the ring to “save” Christian Cage.

He denies this, reminding fans on the history of Christian Cage and himself, upon arriving in AEW, and all of the things that Cage said to him….including taking his daughter’s father from him. Christian Cage also sabotaged Adam Copeland’s opportunity to win the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

Adam Copeland then states his true intentions…to face off with FTR for stabbing him in the back. Copeland details how he contacted FTR after he was cleared to return to the ring, after the news years earlier that he would never be able to compete again!

FTR tried to put Adam Copeland out of action again, and that seemingly has lit a fire under Adam Copeland. Just as Copeland is delivering this speech, Stokley walks down the ring, with AEW security by his side. Stokley states that Adam Copeland doesn’t have the clearance to lay hands on FTR, and will be fired if he does so.

That “order of protection” doesn’t seem to extend to Stokely Hathaway, and Adam Copeland delivers a vicious spear to him, leaving him laying face down towards the middle of the ring.

Backstage Segment: Mark Briscoe speaks about his feud with MJF.
Mark Briscoe states that if it “walks like a duck, and acts like a duck, then it must be a duck”. This is seemingly stating that MJF is afraid to face Mark, but Mark Briscoe states that he is still going to deliver an a** whooping to MJF himself.

It didn’t help that MJF mentioned Mark Briscoe’s brother who passes away, Jay Briscoe, but Mark ensured the fan’s that his brother’s spirit is still alive and well. He states that violence, chaos and destruction are incoming, and that MJF will pay for his sins.

Next Match: $100K four way women’s match.
Thekla vs Queen Aminata vs Kris Statlander vs Willow Nightingale!
The match starts off with Thekla sending Willow out of the ring with a forearm shot, before running towards Statlander in the corner…this didn’t last long, as Kris Statlander used her power to deliver a delayed brainbuster to Thekla!

Thekla hasn’t been in AEW that long but has already been in Main Event/Co-Main Event competition. With her outside of the ring, Statlander delivers a drop kick to Thekla. Queen Aminata then joins the Fray and delivers a devasting knee to Thekla along the ropes.

Queen Aminata would then treat us to a move, reminiscent of Stephanie Vaquer…Let me focus. Willow Nightingale is in the ring, delivering a back breaker to Thekla. Thekla rebounds from this jumping off the top rope, and delivering a nice crossbody to the opponents outside of the ring!

Back in the ring, Thekla is on the top rope, when her new rival Queen Aminata looks to perform a move on her, but gets hit with a spider Suplex off the second rope! Thekla does her trademark bridge, walking backwards to intimidate her opponents. The four competitors in this match deliver move after move, with a head butt from Queen Aminata completing the sequence.

With all four competitors, Willow Nightingale performs her powerbomb finisher. Before she can get the 3 count, her long time friend and rival Kris Statlander, pulls Ref Aubrey outside of the ring. With those two walking up the ramp, Queen Aminata and Thekla are located in the ring, but we have some outside interference.

Thekla has gained some allies since joining AEW, in the form of Julia Hart and Skye Blue, with Julia spitting mist into the face of Queen Aminata. (The same mist that Julia Hart spit in the face of Skye Blue a while back, and caused her to become a darker version of herself).

Next segment: Toni Storm arrives, speaking from the Balcony of the arena.
Her win over Mercedes Mone, a six time champion herself across several promotions, was one of the most impressive wins that I’ve witnessed this year!

Toni Storm states that Mercedes Mone is welcome to a rematch. She also announces that her long time Luther is out of action, with an unfortunate injury. Toni Storm is now locked in and focused on her next opponent: Athena.

Speaking of Athena, the old wrestling trope stands true…say their name and they appear. Athena makes an appearance on the titatron, with her minion Billie Starkz by her side. Athena tries to build expense, as she brings up her Casino Gauntlet Championship win, guaranteeing her a shot at Toni Storms AEW World Championship. Toni Storm accepts the preverbial challenge from Athena, and we shall see this exciting matchup at some point in the future.

The Patriarchy speaks…..

on their betrayal of Christian Cage, stating that Christian Cage is past his expiration date. It seems that Christian Cage has lost sight of his family, with his endless pursuit of the AEW World Heavy Weight Championship. Nick Wayne, his proverbial stepson/prodigy, states that Cage will have to watch him become the future of AEW, now and forever.

Next Match: Don Callis introduces the newest member of the Don Callis family and winner of the AEW Undisputed Championship at All in Texas, Kazuchika Okada!
Okada is in action next against, facing an opponent in a match that will start off his reign as Undisputed Champion!

Okada hits a vicious forearm, followed by one of his picture perfect dropkicks, before ending the match very quickly, with the Rain Maker (Lariat) finisher.

Oh great, Don Callis wants to speak after the match, stating that Okada has something very important to state. The new AEW Undisputed champion now directs his focus to Swerv Strickland, who he wants to face, to avenge the loss of his friends the Young Bucks (Who Swerv Strickland and Will O’spreay faced at All in Texas).

Swerv Strickland is very confident about his win at All in Texas, stating plain faced to Kazuchika Okada, “Yeah I did that. What are you going to do about it, b*tch!” We will see these two face off in a match soon, a match that will definitely deliver fireworks.

Main Event: The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castignoli and Wheeler Yuta) vs Powerhouse Hobbs, Mark Briscoe and “Hangman” Adam Page.
This Main Event for AEW’s Dynamite, starts with Claudio Castignoli vs Powerhouse Hobbs, with Hobs delivering some nice shoulder thrust to Claudio in the corner. The two deliver strikes to each other in the middle of the ring, but the power…of Powerhouse Hobbs proves to be too much.

Powerhouse Hobbs tags in the new AEW World Heavy Weight Champion, “Hangman” Adam Page! Hangman is in the ring with Wheeler Yuta, who ends up getting some chops to the chest from Hangman and Mark Briscoe. Briscoe tags in, and Powerhouse Hobbs quickly tags in as well, Jon Moxley joining him.

It looks like Hangman Adam Page would prefer to face Jon Moxley himself, but Moxley retreats to the outside with Page and Hobbs walking towards him.

We return back from commercial break, with Powerhouse Hobbs powerslamming Wheeler Yuta. Jon Moxley would get involved here, giving Marina Shafir a chance to interfere from the outside.

Claudio Castagnoli is in the ring with Powerhouse Hobbs, using his own strength to swing him around. Mox tags in and delivers a big boot to Hobbs, before Wheeler Yuta tags in but he probably shouldn’t have, as Hobbs delivers a nice powerslam to him.

Mark Briscoe gets in on the action, tagging in vs Jon Moxley, and hitting him with a running flying forearm, before chopping the chest of Claudio Castignoli. Moxley catches him with a boot form the corner tho, but Briscoe recovers for a bit before Mox hits a huge DDT on the outside of the ring.

Solid Main event thusfar with every superstar getting their moments! Back to the action tho, with Mark Briscoe and Jon Moxley on the top rope, before Mark bites him and hits a drop kick off the top rope. Hangman Adam Page gets the tag, and Wheeler Yuta tags w/ Claudio Castignoli in tow. Hangman disposes of both of them.

Hangman sends Castignoli outside of the ring, before Mark Briscoe follows it up with a dive to the outisde. Hangman follows with a moonsault of his own, before his rival Jon Moxley enters the fray…. POWERHOUSE HOBBS WITH THE NICE SPINEBUSTER ON JON MOXLEY!

Hangman Adam Page and Claudio Castignoli face off, with Hangman going for his Buckshot finisher. Castignoli counters, attempting to deliver a finisher of his own, but Hangman Adam page delivers the most devasting move in all of professional wrestling….the surprise roll up pin!
1 …… 2 ………. 3!

Final moments of AEW Dynamite: The Death Riders look to attempt a sneak attack on Hangman Adam Page, before the returning Darby Allin makes an appearance in the stands!!!!! This would distract the Death riders, before Hangman Adam Page delivers a Lariat to send them running and stand victorious on the first AEW Dynamite after All in Texas!

– Ricochet has the unfortunate task of facing his old…New Japan Pro Wrestling adversary.
– Kota is kicking everyone and putting them out of the ring, before Brody King uses his pow….nevermind. Kota Ibushii, gets the 2 count on Anthony Bowens.

Participant number 13: I Called it! BEAST MORTOS!!!
– Beast Mortos hits a spear on Brody King and a piledriver on Anthony Bowens.
– Roderick Strong trying to make peace with Beast Mortos, but gets hit with a devasting headbutt.
– Mistico has Beast Mortos on the top rope and drops him for the 2 count.
– Ricochet vs Bandido, with Ricochet gets hit with a nice knee and tries a move off the ropes but Takeshita catches him…who is also holding Ricochet for a triple German Suplex.
– Brody King hits a nice piledriver type move on Bowens.
– Beast Mortos with the Popup fallaway slam on Roderick Strong.
– Ibushii hits a lariat on Beast Mortos.
– There are so many spots happening right now!

Participant number 14…
– ” The Best Wrestler Alive” Max Caster has made his entrance before getting sent out of the ring by Roderick Strong.
– Strong goes back and forth with Mark Briscoe, chop for chop, before Roderick Strong hits his finisher for a 3 cou….NOOOO
Not like this!
– MJF puts Strong out of the ring and steals the win, and the guaranteed match for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship!

3. Four way match for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship!
Adam Cole approaches the ring first, to relinquish his TNT Championship, after not being cleared for competition.
– A lot of tears are being shed right now…thank you Adam Cole!
– This honestly is such a moment that you never want to see in pro wrestling, and we are all hoping that it is just a see ya later.

Next Match: Daniel Garcia vs Sammy Guevara vs Dustin Rhodes vs “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher

This is the part of wrestling that gets tricky…booking decisions.

Who wins the title, because they all deserve to. Four fierce competitors. Kyle Fletcher starts off the match vs Dustin Rhodes, but the sons of Texas puts him to the outside of the ring.

Danny Garcia and Sammy Guevara have a nice face off, doing dance moves before Kyle Fletcher gets involved. Fletcher is now in the ring, wrenching on the leg of Dustin Rhodes trying to make him a non factor. Later in the match, Kyle Fletcher and Danny Garcia put dual Figure Four locks on the sons of Texas!

Dustin Rhodes almost gets the 3 count and the TNT Championship, as he hits a nice Cross Rhodes on Kyle Fletcher! Speaking of Kyle Fletcher, he gets a triple scoop of nope, as his family jewels get triple kicked. After this, Sammy Guevara inadvertently kicks his tag team partner, with them sharing a tense stare off.

Kyle Fletcher with the “You get a backdrop on the apron”, before getting back in the ring and getting destroyed.

I’m sorry…I want to keep taking notes like this but something amazing just happened. Dustin Rhodes. A son of Texas, has finally won singles gold in AEW! Dustin Rhodes is your NEW! AEW TNT Champion!

Next Match: Swerv Strickland and Will O’Spreay vs the EVP’s, Nick and Matt Jackson…hold up…
Thank you to Will Ospreay and Swerv Strickland for being considerate of time, while the very awesome and totally not wack EVP’s, the Young Bucks, took their time (which is an understatement).
Hold up…I woke up…ok the match just started.

The Young Bucks are in control early on in this matchup, much to the displeasure of this Texas crowd. Will Ospreay and Swerv Strickland sent to the outside of the ring, trying to figure out how to better work as a tag team.

Will Ospreay and Swerv Strickland said that they were working on some tag team moves, and it shows here. Pretty solid work from the two. The advantage doesn’t last long as the EVP’s start to gain momentum, even hitting a few monkey flips onto Will Ospreay. The EVP’s are looking unstoppable right now.

This matchup between Swerv Strickland and the Young Bucks showed how great the Buck are (in my opinion one of the greatest tag teams in wrestling period), but also how strong of a tag team Swerv Strickland and Will Ospreay. This shows a lot in the tag team moves that Will Ospreay mentioned that they were working on, especially their team finishing move. There’s no way that anyone should be able to kick out of the House Call/Hidden Blade maneuver!

4. AEW Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match
Honestly I thought that AEW was going to go the WWE Money in the Bank route, showcasing the Women’s Casino Gauntlet match as the opening match.

The match started off with Megan Bayne vs Kris Statlander, who are two of the premier powerhouses in the AEW Women’s locker room. The two teed off, seemingly posing as a stalemate between the two, when Willow Nightingale entered the fray. Willow, who is a long time friend and rival of Statlander, forced a temporary alliance between Stat and Bayne.

Next up, Tay Melo having recently returned, looked to make some noise in the Casino Gauntlet Match. We have a cool moment where Penelope Cruz (in the corner of Megan Bayne), was going to interfere with the match, when a surprise return in the form of Harley Cameron happened.

Next up, we have what I believe to be AEW’s answer to Stephanie Vaquer, in the form of Thekla! One heck of an exciting competitor to watch, Thekla has the power and charisma to follow. Following her, is one of the AEW’s best products, and that’s Julia Hart, who walks down to the ring with a great ovation from the fans. Julia Hart did fantastic against the powerhouse Megan Bayne.

Thekla stood in the ring alone before the next entrance, before the arrival of her rival, Queen Aminata, who runs won the ring before the two engage in instant offense. Aminata hits a huge Swinging Neckbreaker on Queen Aminata! Skye Blue, although not officially part of the match, enters the Fray, to backup her friend Julia Hart.

The next competitor Mina Surakawa, who is another fan favorite, hits a huge spinning DDT on Julia Hart. She hits another DDt on Megan Bayne, while simulatenously hitting a leg snap maneuver on Statlander…nice! Next up is the fallen goddess Athena.

Athena hits a couple powerbombs to Mina Surakawa, before a double fallaway slam on Tay Melo and Thekla! Athena continues until another rivalry takes place. ThunderRosa makes her way to the ring, as her and Athena seemingly continue the fight from their last match! Aside from those two, Willow is taking out competitors in the ri….wait a minute

We have a new addition to the AEW Women’s locker room! Suri (who totally doesn’t remind me of Asuka), but it does give me the Athena Asuka rematch that I’ve wanted to see. Suri hits a nice backstabber on Athena before going toe to toe with rival Mina Surakawa, from their days in Japanese promotion “Stardom”.

Next up is another new addition to the AEW Women’s locker room, all the way from England, is Alex Windsor! Windsor hits a nice DDT to Suri from the ropes (ala Randy Orton). Alex and Suri go back and forth with strikes, before Suri hits a nice German suplex on her, with Windsor delivering one of her own!

All of the women are in the ring right now, as they brawl for a chance to win as guaranteed shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship. All it takes is one pin or submission. A couple of nice matchups to note Thekla vs ThundeRosa, Julia Hart vs Mina Surakawa and Queen Aminata vs Alex Windsor, before Megan Bayne breaks up the action!

Willow hits a devastin slam to Athena on the apron that draws “ohhhhhhh’s” from the crowd. Kris Statlander powerbombs Megan Bayne into the sea of competitors waiting below, Julia Hart being the lone woman to avoid the move.

The action continues in the ring, as ThunderRosa and Mina Surakawa go at it. It looks as if the match will come down to these two, with Mina delivering a knockout forearm to ThunderRosa. Instead of going for a pin, Mina Surakawa goes for a Figure Four attempt, but Athena is on the top rope to break it up and suprise Mina for the 1 …… 2…… 3.

The Fallen Goddess, and Ring of Honor’s Women’s World Champion, now has a guarenteed match for the AEW Women’s World Heavyweight Championship! Toni Storm, whereever you are, I hope that you took notice of this match!

5. FTR joins the commentary team, as the Hurt Syndicate goes against JetSpeed, for the AEW World Tag Team Championship!
(Side note…FTR on commentary…aewsome.)

Before the match, we are treated to a live rendition of The Hurt Syndicate’s entrance music! After their entrance, JetSpeed walks out to great ovation from the crowd, looking very confident in their ability to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships tonight!

– Entering now, is the final tag team in this match up, the Ring of Honor Television Champion and his…father, Christian Cage, alongside Mother Wayne, and Kip Sabian!

– The match starts with the Hurt Syndicate proving dominant as they look to retain their tag team championships! The numbers see to be a factor, as MJF, who won the Men’s Casino Guantlet match earlier, rakes the eyes of Speedball “Mike Bailey”. MVP also has some words for him too, before Bobby Lashley throws Nick Wayne into the steel steps!

– Kevin Knight and Nick Wayne was amazing…until the Hurt Syndicate intervened, with Shelton Benjamin throwing Kevin Knight up to the Heavens, before he comes crashing down on the steel steps. The patriarchy would then take the advantage here.

– JetSpeed is showing great a cohesive unit, with them dismantling Nick Wayne inside the ring. The patriarchy now has the advantage, as Christian Cage shows Nick Wayne how it’s done and flexing to the crowd. Nick Wayne is now in the ring solo vs Mike Bailey, who is giving him Birthday Kicks…and it’s not his birthday.

– JetSpeed is in the ring with the Hurt Syndicate at this point, with Shelton Benjamin German Suplexing Mike Bailey into the ring. Further into the match, Mike Bailey and Shelton Benjaming go one on one, before Bobby Lashley clotheslines Kevin Knight outside of the ring. Christian Cage inserts himself into the equation, looking to spear Bobby Lashley, before he almost gets caught in a chokeslam (Mike Bailey….bailing him out).

– Mike Bailey has the unfortunate…fortune of receiving a few power slams from Shelton Benjamin for a 2 count. Speaking of great matchups, Mike Bailey vs Shelton Benjamin is a bit of a dream match, which delivered at All In, before Christian Cage intervened.

– Kevin Knight is in the ring vs Shelton Benjamin, performing a nice head scissors from the top rope, to free his tag team partner Mike Bailey. Speaking of Mike Bailey, he performs a picture perfect moonsault to Bobby Lashley on the outside. At this point the Patriarchy joins the fray, with Nick Wayne hitting a cutter on Kevin Knight.

– Bobby Lashley would throw Christian Cage into FTR at some point, causing them to jump to the rope. This would prove advantageous for Bobby Lashley, as he hit a timely spear for the 1 …. 2……….. 3! As the Hurt Syndicate retain their AEW World Tag Team Championship!

Post Match: FTR is in the ring, facing off with the Patriarchy, before the unthinkable happens! Nick Wayne hits Christian Cage with his own finisher! That’s your notfather! Mother Wayne seems to be in delight of this, as Kip Sabian doesn’t protest Nick Wayne’s actions. As Kip Sabian gets another chair, Mother Wayne slaps Christian, but before a conchairto attempt can be made…..
Music hits….You think you know him! Adam Copeland sends the Patriarchy and FTR out of the ring, before Adam Copeland confronts Christian cage (with Nailbat in hand). Adam Copeland tells Christian Cage to go f….ind himself… What does that mean?

6. Toni Storm vs Mercedes Mone for the AEW Women’s World Championship!
The bell rings, with Toni Storm and Mercedes Mone sharing in a stareoff in the middle of the ring. This raucous Texas crowd is chanting back and forth, “Let’s go Toni!” and “CEO”!

The two competitors lock up, going outside of the ring, then up to apron, sharing another staredown. Mercedes Mone invites Toni Storm back into the ring, with Toni rolling back in with her dramatic style.

Mercedes goes for a couple of roll up pins for two counts, before locking Toni Storm into her submission finisher, “The Statement Maker”. Toni storm breaks out of the hold, and then has a bit of fun, as she mockingly spanks Mercedes Mone. Toni Storm then does Mercedes taunt in the ring, and a little twerking, with her butler Luther joining in on the fun. Sitting on the top of Luther’s shoulder, Toni Storms throws Mercedes Mone off the apron to the mat outside.

The shenanigans of Toni Storm and Luther would end, as Mercedes Mone would perform a double stomp off the apron, before proceeding to break the glasses of Luther.

Later in the match, and back in the ring. Mercedes Mone goes for a pin for a two count, looking very frustrated after. Toni Storm would then add to that frustration, with a clothesline and a Luthez press before hitting a sit down powerbomb on her for a two count.

Toni Storm is approaching this match a little bit differently, not looking as the pin breaks as a frustration, but a way to continue this match and punish Mercedes even more. Considering the way this match was built up, it’s understandable.

Back to the match, Mercedes Mone would perform a nice arm breaker on Toni Storm and then a submission before Toni storm broke out of it. Mercedes would go back to the ground submissions, as she applies an arm bar to Toni Storm. Storm using her power, moves Mercedes Mone back towards the ropes, and using then launching Mercedes up towards the ropes.

Mercedes Mone would rebound after this, as she hits the three Amigos (of our hero Eddie Guerrero). Toni Storms hits her back with a German Suplex and a hip attack in the corner turnbuckle. Not able to put Mone away yet, Toni puts Mercedes in a chicken wing submission, before Mercedes bites her to get out of the maneuver.

The match continues with Mercedes hitting her Mone Maker finisher, but even that can’t put Toni Storm away, causing Mone to look in disbelief. Toni Storm would reverse Mone’s offense into a double underhook slam, for a 2 count in return. Mercedes Mone would then put Storm into a double wrist lock on the ground, before Storm used her power to lift Mercedes up for a slam!

There’s a move that Toni Storm does, where she presses Mercedes over her back, into a twisting cutter. I don’t know what this move is called, but it’s very awesome. Mercedes would recover from this, to put Toni in a headlock on the ground, before Toni Storm switches into a headlock of her own! Toni Storm hits three of her finishing moves consecutively….to ONLY GET A 2 COUNT!!!!

Toni Storm would capitalize on the momentum, with a huge hip attack on Mercedes in the corner! Toni Storm would plant a kiss Mercedes Mone, before hitting her finisher of the top rope…for the 1 ……. 2…………3!

Mercedes Mone’s chance at wrestling immortality (Thanos reference) ends here, with Toni Storm retaining her title!

AEW’s Women’s Roster continues to amaze me on a regular basis, and that sentiment isn’t any different with All in Texas!

7. Kazuchika Okada vs Kenny Omega for the AEW Unified Championship!
Before the match starts, the crowd at All in starts to chant very loud for both competitors. The commentary team also mentions that these two competitors have also faced off 4 times already, with Kenny Omega having the one fight streak advantage.

The match doesn’t start right away, but with both competitors having a bit of a stare off, but then they lock up with Kenny Omega having the advantage. Okada runs to the corner turnbuckle, but Kenny kicks him in the face before hitting him with a bulldog. Kenny Omega jumps off the top rope, with Okada ducking out of the way. He gets the elbow drop on Kenny, who visibly looks to be in pain from it…does Kenny Omega suffer from an injury to the midsection? Hopefully not, because with a competitor like Okada, that will just become target practice.

Kenny Omega tries a moonsault from the top rope, but on the way down, meets the knees of Kazuchika Okada. Kenny Omega, back to his feet, delivers a blow to the back of Okada, before delivering some loud chops to him in the corner. Okada rebounds from this, hitting a nice dropkick while Kenny Omega sits on the top rope.

Okada has Kenny Omega up on the announce table, before delivering a devasting DDT to Omega, with the referee coming quickly to to check on Omega. Omega’s friend Ubushi, checks on him as well, before Omega goes back in the ring for another DDT from Okada.

The match goes on, and both competitors get ready for a test of…chops. The two go back and forth with chops to the chest, before Okada hits a Kitchen Sink on a running Kenny Omega. Okada hits a nice missile dropkick to the back of the next off Omega.

With Okada on the top rope, Kenny Omega delivers a loud chop, before attempting a suplex….Okada tries to block it, but Omega shops the back of Okada. After a couple of strikes soften up Okada, he gets the twisting brain buster on Omega. Omega would go for a V trigger strike, but Okada counters it into a German suplex. A pin count for Okada ends in 2 count.

Omega once again goes for the V Trigger attempt, but Okada delivers one of his picture-perfect dropkicks. Okada would dropkick Kenny Omega into the corner again, but hitting a body slam that would set up a top rope maneuver. Okada hits an elbow that looks a little bit awkward.

Kenny seems to be suffering from the midsection strikes of Okada earlier in the match, as Omega is not able to lift up his opponent at this point. Okada leaps off the top rope again with an elbow, before looking out into a crowd that is booing him loudly (I guess his signature middle finger taunt didn’t help with anything).

Okada seems to thoroughly be in control at this point, but Kenny Omega hits Okada with a nice powerbomb, followed with a nice V trigger. Another V trigger to Okada ends up in a 2 count. Omega has Okada up on the top rope, with a full nelson slam from the top rope. It seems that Okada took more of the brunt of that, trying to move in the air. Okada looks to be alright as he tries to rise to his feet. Omega hits another V Trigger, but before he could hit the one winged angel, Okada reverses it into a tombstone.

Okada hits his rainmaker Clotheslines finisher, but it only gets a 2 count, which is rare. Omega tries to hit the one winged angel but he opts for the German Suplex instead. Oh that’s just great….we have a member of the Don Callis family interfering (Rocky Romero, before the Don himself distracts the referee. Don Callis continues to prove to be a menace, as he pulls the referee outside of the ring, before Omega can get the 3 count.

Referee Aubrey joins the fray, with Omega attempting a one winged angel, which Okada reverses into a Rain Maker. It doesn’t put Omega away, and the competitors rise to their feet for back and forth strikes. Don Callis goes into the ring again, to distract the referee, which proves helpful as Okada hits another Rain Maker on Omega for the 1….. 2……. 3!

Kushiska Okada is your new AEW Unified Champion, raising his championship in in the ring, looking down on Kenny Omega as he exits the arena.

8. Main Event: Jon Moxley and “Hangman” Adam Page, for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.
“Hangman” Adam Page makes his way to the ring, and “Cowboy Shit” chants from the AEW crowd, but not before we are treated to a nice rendition of his theme! Adam Page chose to walk…but the Death Riders had another idea. Approaching the ring in a truck fitting for the setting of Texas, the Death Riders enter the arena as they usually do…..through the crowd.

Alright…it’s time. For a match of matches. A Texas Death Match for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship! Hangman starts off the match with a strike to Jon Moxley, which sparks a back and forth between the two. Jon Moxley would try to us a fork on the head of Hangman Adam page. Hangman moves out the way before bringing Moxley down to the ground with a triangle type submission….before stabbing Mox with the fork a few times.

Unfortunately for Moxley, this is a Texas Deathmatch and if this was a video game, blood would be turned on. Jon Moxley uses some barbed wire on the face of Hangman Adam Page. Marina Shafir would then step in and bite the head of Hangman Adam Page.
Jon Moxley introduces another weapon into the match. Hangman Adam Page is now bleeding from the forehead as well, with Jon Moxley striking him with one of those forks from earlier. Mox takes the chair wrapped in barbed wire and puts it in the corner turnbuckle. Hangman tries to swing the chair into the face of Mox, who moves out of the way and kicks the chair into the face of Adam Page!

Mox puts Hangman Adam Page up on the top rope, with a table placed outside the ring. What is Mox thinking here? Mox hits a cutter on Adam Page, before motioning Marina Shafir to get a bucket of glass from under the ring. Mox takes some of that glass and rubs it into the forehead of Jon Moxley. Adam Page picks up Mox for a possible dead eyes attempt on the glass. Moxley would get out of that, and then drag Hangman Adam Page through the glass…before pile driving him through it as well. Sheesh…..

Mox would go on to hit another piledriver to Adam Page, forcing the referee to invoke the 10 count, but Adam Page rises before the 10 count. Hangman gets back up and puts Mox on the top rope, looking to slam him into either tables on the outside of the ring, or the chairs set up inside the ring. Mox would combat this, with some barbed wire to the back of Hangman. After this Hangman seemingly destroys Jon Moley, slamming him and having his back make impact with two chairs set up back to back.

The match continues and we have another interference form the Death Riders, as Wheeler Yuta tries to distract “Hangman” Adam Page, but that’s not before Hangman slams Moxley onto the glass in the ring. Hangman takes another DeathRider out of the equation, as he hits a Tiger Driver to Marina Shafir, off the apron and crashing into a table on the outside of the ring.

Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castignoli come to the aid of Mox and Shafir, bringing another table into the equation. I guess we have an equalizer now, with Will Ospreay trying to have Adam Pages back, but Gabe Kidd helps out the DeathRiders. Ospreay is the unfortunate recipient of a chair around the neck and a stomp to the back of his head/neck.

If there’s one person that can help out here, it would be Hangman Adam Page’s longtime rival and Ospreay’s tag team partner, Swerv Strickland…but will Strickland help Hangman tho, in his quest for gold tonight?

Hangman sought to put Hangman Adam Page through two tabled laced with barbed wire on the outside but ends up on the end of a Suplex to the same tables from Jon Moxley. Look at the back of Jon Moxley, totally shredded form the barbed wire, but still, he walks back into the ring angrily. Both competitors are face to face in the middle of the ring, with Mox slightly more bloodied than Hangman Adam Page.

Mox hits Hangman with a lariat (not a Buckshot variant). Hangman Adam Page is down again on the mat, with the referee up to the 9 count…before Adam Page barely gets up! Jon Moxley puts Hangman through a chair, putting him down again for the referee’s count. Once again, Hangman rises before the 10 count.

Moxley motions to Claudio Castignoli, who takes a plastic bag out of his pocket, which is reminiscent of when Mox ended the career of Bryan Danielson. Wait, this just in… we get a mid-match promo from…Darby Allin….

Wait a minute, we have a masked wrestler in the ring, who signals the “Yes!” chants. It’s Bryan Danielson!!!!!!!!!!! Claudio Castignoli is the unforunate recipient of yes kicks from Bryan Danielson…before…. Darby Allin descends into the middle of the ring, on a rope. Waitttttt
Hangman Adam page hits a Buckshot lariat on Mox, and Darby hits a coffin drop to the outside of the ring. Hangman Adam page hits a second lariat. Hangman then puts Moxley through a table with a Deadeyes! Mox almost falls to the 10 count of the referee before Marina Shafir picks him up.

More thorns to the side of Adam Page arrive in the form of the Young Bucks, who deliver their EVP trigger knees to the head of Hangman Adam Page. Mox then puts a bed of nails in the ring, before deliver a stomp to the head of Adam Page….He then hits a DDT which he hopes will put Hangman Adam Page out of his misery!

As the match goes on, someone will come to his aide…Prince Nana? Who dances along-side the outside, before Hangman’s long-time rival comes to his aide as well, bearing a steel chain that is synomous of their rivalry. Hangman would use the chain to choke Jon Moxley along the ropes, and gets him to submit…which means that…

Hangman Adam Page is your new AEW World Heavyweight Champion!!!

Thank you to everyone who tuned into AEW All in Texas, including the Zero Hour! Make sure to tune into Dynamite on Wednesday, to see the fallout of All in Texas, live from Chicago, IL!

AEW All in Texas: Zero Hour

Paul Wight, Jeff Jarett, Renee Paquette, and RJ City are here to introduce us to the matches of the Zero Hour and the main card of the night.

First Match: Shane Taylor Promotions vs the Sons of Texas and the Von Erichs.
– To start, notable moments include Shane Taylor laying out the members of the Sons of Texas and the Von Erichs, on the outside of the ring. Back in the ring, Dustin Rhodes takes out the members of the infantry, forcing Shayne Taylor himself outside of the ring, and hitting a “Cross Rhodes” before the entire Shane Taylor promotions breaks up the pin.

– All 8 competitors are in the ring, with the Sons of Texans and Von Erichs putting head squeezes on the Shayne Taylor Promotion. It seems like a head squeeze was the key to victory, because it secured the victory for the Sons of Texas and the Von Erichs.

Segment: The cast talks about the match between Danny Garcia, Dustin Rhodes, Kyle Fletcher and Sammy Guevera.

Considering that Dustin and Sammy just won a tag team match together in the preshow, it would be interesting to see how they battle together…and against each other in this match. Also, Daniel Garcia is a heavy underdog in this matchup. Kyle Fletcher could have a break out night tonight, and keep his momentum going, especially if he captures the AEW TNT Championship.

Next Match: Hechicero, Lance Archer, RPG Vice (Trent Baretta and Rocky Romero) vs Hologram, Tomohiro Ishii, Kyle O’Reilly and Big Boom! AJ
There is a lot of star power in this matchup for the AEW All in Zero Hour show!

– The Conglomeration has put Lance Archer outside of the ring, and Rocky Romero down on the mat, as Big Boom AJ has the advantage. He tags in Hologram, and Hechicero gets the tag on the opposite side, giving us the first Luchador action on All in Texas!

– Kyle O’Reilly is not in the ring with Lance Archer, who towers over him and is showing his power with running shoulder thrusts to the corner turnbuckle!Rocky Romero gets the tag, and his RPG Vice tag team member Trent Baretta, push down the child of Big Boom! AJ. AJ takes issue with this and chases RGP Vice, back in the ring.

– Kyle O’Reilly is back in the match, getting the tag to Hologram, who almost gets the 3 count of a surprise rollup from Hechichero. Hechicero tags in Lance Archer, who looks display more power against the smaller Hollogram, who hits a suicide dive to the outside! Lance Archer is now back in the ring vs Ishii, but he is able to counter a brain buster move with one of his own.

– Big Boom AJ strikes all of his opponents, and lively crowd in All in Texas chants BOOM! Hologram with a nice cross body off the top rope to Hechicero, leads to a Kyle O’Reilly tag, but the RGP Vice enters the ring. It’s not long before the Conglomeration takes them out, with Hologram once again flying over the top rope.

Wait a minute, Big Justice (The son of Big Boom! AJ), just hit a wonderful spear on Rocky Romero, followed up with a powebomb on Rocky as well. 1…… 2……… 3!

Final Zero Match: The Outrunners vs FTR!
With the action in the ring, Truth Magnum puts Dax Harwood on his back with a nice Back Suplex. Cash Wheeler flies to the outside, putting Turbo Floyd down, before Dax brings him back into the ring for nice snap suplex. Truth Magnum attempts a sunset flip, but Cash Wheeler is back in the ring to break it up, with both members of FTR trying to prevent a tag to Turbo Floyd.

Turbo Floyd tries fighting off FTR on the outside of the ring, before Truth Magnum is back in the ring with Cash Wheeler, who slaps and humiliates him.

Wait a minute. Truth Magnum is able to get the tag to Turbo Floyd! Turbo is in control of both members of FTR, with running thrust to two corner turnbuckles. Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum try to hit their signature hand shake but Cash Wheeler intervenes, before getting power slammed onto Dax Harwood.

Dax Harwood is getting frustrated that FTR hasn’t put The Outrunners away, but he needs to focus because The Outrunners almost get a surprise rollup pinup on him. Unfortunately for the Outrunners, FTR had an ace up their sleeves, with Stokley “Big Stoke” Hathaway getting the attention of the referee. FTR is able to capitalize on this and pick up the W in the final match of AEW All In: Zero Hour.

Thank you for tuning in to AEW All In Zero Hour, see ya on Amazon Prime for the main show!

I have watched AEW all year, I just didn’t have the resources to create my own website. Allow me some time to catch up.

Mark Briscoe set up a chair in the ring, which works against him, with Trent Baretta tripping him face first into it for a 2 count! The Max Caster Challenge brings back a very exciting name in AEW!

Max Caster, as dislikable of a character that he tries to be, continues to have people chanthing along with him and his oddly timed slogan. Max Caster even gets the crowd to chant “this crowd sucks”…that’s pretty funny.

Max Caster would then go on issue his 5 minute challenge and who would answer, but fan favorite and returning superstar, SCORPIO SKY! Sky along with Top Flight, Leila Grey and Chistopher Daniels, walk down the ring in his hometown.

Max Caster tries to spoil the love that Scorpio Sky is getting from his hometown, launching a suprise attack before the bell sounds, but Sky gets the advantage. The crowd chants “Welcome back” before Sky makes quick work of Max Caster, ending his challenge for the night with a Cutter and a 3 count!

As mentioned by AEW Commtary team members Tony Schiavone and Nigel Mcguinness, FTR wrestled on the first episode of Collision and are still going strong. Those complimentary sentiments don’t really do much to stop Dax Harwood from taking time away from the match to insult them.

It looks like Turbo Floyd is starting to make his way back to the apron, Cash Wheeler takes him out before the tag. Dax Harwood launches a barrage of chops and punches to Magnum.

Turbo Floyd tires to tag in again, before Cash Wheeler takes him off the apron again. This leaves Truth Magnum vulnerable to a tag team maneuver from FTR that would seem to end the match, but Magnum is able to kick out and extend the match for his team!

In the ring, Kyle Fletcher puts down Garcia, with a few shoulder blocks. Daniel Garcia would then run to the ropes, avoiding strikes from Fletcher, and hitting him with a huge running shoulder block of his own!

Kyle Fletcher picks up Daniel Garcia with a huge scoop slam before Daniel Garcia kicks him out of the ring and hits his dance!

Outside of the ring, Daniel Garcia runs towards Kyle Fletcher before recieving a big boot. Fletcher would then try to get into the head of Adam Cole.

Kyle Fletcher picks up Daniel Garcia and sends him crashing into the barricade below, causing his forehead to be split open a bit. Down on the mat, with blood dripping down his face, Daniel Garcia needs to find a way to fight through this and get to the championship match at All In!

Aew dynamite 7/2/25

This is a special episode of AEW Dynamite, as well have official hit 300 episodes!

Before we head to All in Texas, we start the show off hearing from…..

Hangman Adam Page. Hangman Adam Page, makes his way to the ring, to make a promise that he would win the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at All in Texas. This rivalry between Hangman and Jon Moxley has become very intense, and anything can happen at All in Texas.

Hangman Adam Page. Hangman Adam Page, makes his way to the ring, to make a promise that he would win the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at All in Texas. This rivalry between Hangman and Jon Moxley has become very intense, and anything can happen at All in Texas.

After Mox tells Hangman Adam Page that a Texas Death Match isn’t really the match that he wants to compete in, Hangman then jumps on Moxley. As he is about to continue, Marina Shafir gets into the ring for a distraction, with the rest of the Death Riders pouncing on Hangman Adam Page. Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castignoli take out Hangman, sending a clear message before AEW’s All in Texas event!

As Hangman Adam Page picks up a mic to deliver a powerful message, the Death Riders are on the run…no too long tho, before Samoa Joe and Power House Hobbs arrive to back up Hangman!

Jon Moxley is furious about this, earlier disagreeing to a Texas Death match with Hangman Adam Page, now confirming the match for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at All in Texas!.

First match: Mercedes Mone vs Mina Shirakawa (with Toni Storm).

The match starts off with Mercedes Mone getting the upperhand on Mina, showboating to Toni Storm in the process. Mina Shirakawa would strike back with some forearms to a grounded Mone. Shirakawa does her signature dance in the ring, much to the delight of this AEW crowd in Ontario, CA. Don’t let this distract away from the fact that Mina Shirakawa is handling this match well against the multi champ Mercedes Mone!

Shirakawa has locked Mercedes into a Figure Four lock on the turnbuckle from the outside the ring. Back to the inside tho, Mercedes controls the match with her bank statement submission finisher (much like an STU). Mina Shirakawa would then get another Figure Four lock in, rolling to the outside of the ring alongside Mercedes. Mina Shirakawa would try to throw Mercedes back into he ring, but Mercedes counters with a nice sliding kick. This is a nice sequence, as Shirakawa hits Mercedes with a tornado DDT for a two count!

Back from commercial break, both women are in the ring, hands locked for some back to back forearm strikes. Mercedes gets the advantage here, with a Meteora and a sunset bomb to the corner, followed up with some double knees…That’s not enough tho, as Mina Shirakawa would kick out at 2 here. Ever so resilient, Mina Shirakawa would seek damage the knees of Mercedes Mone, applying another figure four lock to add insult to injury.

Mina Shirakawa hits a couple of elbows and a kick to the head of Mercedes, before hitting her finisher…but thats not enough put away the AEW TNT champion. Toni Storm looks on with a blank gaze, as she is probably thinking about the fact that she could lose the title at All in Texas. Considering how Mercedes is doing in this matchup.

Mercedes would hit a tilt whirl double knees maneuver, getting a two count from the referee. Seeking to put this match away, Mercedes attempts her finishing move, but not before for Shirakawa counters it. Mini Shirakawa may have wanted her cake and eat it too, going for another figure four lock, Mercedes would counter this into a rollup pin for the 1…..2…..3.

Toni storm would enter the ring to protect Mina Shirakawa, but Mercedes gets the upper hand, even throwing champagne on Toni Storm’s butler, Luther.

Next segment: The Young Bucks take the company card, and go on a tour of their hometown…..

The Young Bucks have been spending an obnoxious amount of money, at the expense of AEW, even getting a limo and a seamlessly infinite supply of Jordan sneakers. It is cool, to see wrestlers go back to their hometown, and familiar surroundings.

Next match: MJF vs Brodie King vs AR Foxx vs Anthony Bowens

Right now, we have a solid four way matchup, that starts off very interesting. MJF would pull out a stack of money, trying to bribe Brodie King into helping hi m in this match. Speaking of Brodie King, he delivers some huge chops to Anthony Bowens on the outside, running into AR Foxx against the barricades on the outside of the ring.

AR Foxx tries to get momentum against Brodie King. Foxx and Bowens should seek to team up against Brodie King, but they elect to fight each other instead. AR Foxx, delivers a nice stop to Bowens on the apron, before delivering a huge swanton bomb to Brodie King on the outside of the ring.

AR Foxx continues his offense against Brodie King, a Senton bomb to the outside, before taking down Anthony Bowens on the other side. Brodie King then gets back into the ring and does a Tope Suicido to the outside of the ring. MJF looks to capitalize off of this, taking all of the competitors in the match, before delivering a couple of thunderous chair shots to the outside of the ring.

Back in the ring, MJF takes his scarf and chokes out AR Foxx and Anthony Bowens. Bowens then goes to the top rope, to deliver 10 punches to to the top of the head of MJF, before MJF responds with a scoop slam. MJF might want to stop catering to the crowd here, as Brodie King is in the ring looking to put him down.

AR Foss uses his speed to take down Brodie King and Anthony Bowens before he has to team up with Bowens to take down the larger opponent in Brodie King. Bowens goes to the top rope for a double cutter on MJF and Brodie King. Bowens then gets a DDT on Foxx from the corner turnbuckle, for a two count.

The good thing about this match…the fact that none of the four competitors held the advantage for a long time. Each competitor was able to showcase their power and move set.

Back to the action tho, with Brodie King delivering a set of cannonballs ot his opponents down in the corner turnbuckles. As Brodie King gets ready to deliver one final cannonball, MJF moves out of the way and get a two count on the pin attempt. Brodie King finally puts MJF in the corner for a cannonball and a two count pin.

We have a series of cutters from each opponent, with Brodie King getting the final one and a two count pin on AR Foxx. Ar Foxx recoups, and goes to the top rope for a 450 splash and a two count pin on Brodie King. Anthony Bowens takes out AR Foxx with a nice forearm smash, before MJF puts him into a Hammerlock transition into a DDT. Brodie King then gets up and puts MJF over the top rope, with a choke hold that has his eyes rolling in the back of his head!

Anthony Bowens gets a slam on AR Foxx, with the crowd bringing energy. Bowens needs to stay focused, as he get hit with a Gonzo ball from Brodie King. Ever the fair competitor that he is, MJF takes advantage of a AR Foxx pin break up, with a submission and the win!

Post Match: MJF is joined in the ring by his stablemates the Hurt Syndicate, and has his arms raised by MVP before….

Mark Briscoes music hits, and he interrupts his new rival. He starts to talk about the upcoming Casino Gauntlet match (which is one of the best matches that AEW has created). The winner of this match with will a contract, which guarantees them a shot against the AEW World Heavyweight Champion! Mark Briscoe makes it clear that he has no qualms with the Hurt Syndicate, and is solely focusing on MJF.

Mark Briscoe implores Hurt Syndicate to stay in the background next week, as he and MJF go to the ring to have a little chat about their upcoming clash at the Casino Gauntlet match. He then eggs on MJF a little bit more, telling him that if he “has a set of nuts next to his tiny little pickle” then he will accept Briscoes invitation to have chat in the ring next week.

Continuation Segment: As Mark Briscoe exits the arena, and Hurt Syndicate is about to leave the ring…

we get the music and appearance of JetSpeeds Kevin Knight and Mark Briscoe. JetSpeed isn’t too happy with their recent altercations with the Hurt Syndicate, with JetSpeed both still bandaged around the waist. The Hurt Syndicate are able to fend off JetSpeeds initial attack, putting down their injured opponents. MVP sits on a chair outside the ring, directing orders to the Hurt Syndicate to continue their assault on JetSpeed. Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley both deliver powerbombs to JetSpeed.

The Hurt Syndicate along with MJF leave the ring, but JetSpeed both rise to their feet in defiance. This causes the Hurt Syndicate to return to the ring and continue attacking their injured but brave opponents. Bobby sd Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are finally able to put down JetSpeed, with MJF screaming for them to stay down.

Kevin Knight states that the Hurt Syndicates knows how to hurt people, but they will have to kill them to retain the titles. Knight then goes on to state that Shelton Benjamin’s mother must have taught him to fight, because his punches don’t seem to have much impact. This matchup between the Hurt Syndicate and JetSpeed has a lot of heat behind it, and it won’t be Hurt Syndicate just running all over their opponents. JetSpeed is resilient, and it’s good to see a team that is finally brave and strong willed enough to go toe to toe with the Hurt Syndicate.

Next match: The Young Bucks and Konoshite Takeshita face off against ‘Paragon’ members Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly, alongside the Ring of Honor World Champion, Bandido!

Back in the ring tho, the Young Bucks continue with the double team moves on Bandido, who lay in the ring with his tag partners battling on the outside. Matt Jacklson leaps of the top rope with a nice cross body, before he gets a 2 count on Bandido! (42 minutes left.)

The match continues with Nick Jackson and Bandido in the ring. with Bandido getting a pop up cutter, before the two tag out. The Young Bucks and Takeshita are in the ring for trios EVP Driver on Bandido, before Takeshita gets a German Suplex on him. The Paragon both are able to break up the pin, falling back on the Young Bucks who are holding them back.

The Young Bucks and Konoshite Takeshita are able to get a triple EVP Trigger and Takeshita hits his finisher on Kyle O’Reiley for the 1…..2……… 3!

Oh no! Swerv Strickland and Will O’spreay seem to be in disagreement ahead of their match, which is next!

After the end of the match, the new tag team of Swerve Strickland and Will O’Spreay run to the ring to throw the Young Bucks out of it. Swerv and Will O’Spreay issue a challenge to the Young Bucks at All Out Texas. Matt Jackson initially denies this request, because he doesn’t think that this match does anything for the Young Bucks.
Will O’Spreay walks over to Swerve and whispers “trust me” and then drops a pipe bomb. If Serve and O’Spreay don’t beat the Young Bucks, then they can’t challenge for the AEW Tag Team Titles for a whole year. This obviously frustrated Swerv Strickland but he eventually agrees to this stipulation.
Are Will Ospreay and Swerv Strickland on the same page after the challenge made to the Young Bucks?

This matchup is being titled as a “Heroes vs Villians” matchup, as Ospreay and Swerv try to get on the same page vs LFI member Dralistico and The Beast Mortos!

Will Opsreay and Dralistico battle it out in the ring, with Dralistico getting a huge head scissors before tagging in the Beats Mortos! Will Ospreay hits a Hurricanrana on Beast Morots before tagging in Swerv Strickland, who is instant offense upon entering the ring! Ref Aubrey counts to 5 in Spanish, letting Dralistico know to get Swerv out of the corner. The Beast Mortos tags in, and leaps of the top rope to get a two count on Swerv Strickland before Ospreay breaks up the pin!

Dralistico and The Beast Mortos double team Swerv Strickland, before he takes out both competitors and tags in Will Ospreay! Ospreay delivers a huge back kick to both Dralistico and The Beast Mortos before leaping outside over the top rope to take out both competitors!

Will Ospreay hits Dralistico with a Styles clash, with Swerv Strickalnd following up with a House Call, allowing Ospreay to pick up the win for their team. Will Ospreay and Swerv Strickland seem to be building alot of momentum towards their tag team match at AEW All In Texas!
